-after the feast-

Harry, Ron, and Hermione were coming back from the feast with some food wrapped up in a plate for Cali. They found her in the common room sleeping, so they had decided to leave her while they went to go eat. Harry still felt bad for not spending the day with her but talking to Professor Lupin made him feel slightly better about his situation.

"Honeyduke's Sweetshop is brilliant but nothing beats Zonko's Joke Shop." Ron had kept on bragging about the shop and how it was the most amazing thing that had ever been made. Hermione just rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"I hope Cali likes some of the sweets I got her. I felt so bad leaving her behind, but at least she had you Harry." She glanced over at him to see him looking sheepishly down at the ground.

"You did spend the day with her, didn't you?" Harry nervously rubbed his neck, and he frowned when he felt Hermione's hand smack his arm.

"Ugh Harry, you are such an idiot!" They were getting to the top of the stairs now but Ron kept talking.

"But we never got to go to the Shrieking Shack, it's the most-" Harry huffed out a breath of annoyance and glanced at him.

"Haunted building in Britain. I know."

When there was a large group standing in front of the portrait hole the group looked at each other. "Neville probably forgot the password again. " There was gasp and a upset Neville when they turned around to see him complaining.

"Hey, I did not.."

Ron's eyes widened. "Oh, you're there." Up ahead they could see a red-head pushing his way through and trying to sound authoritative when he spoke.

"Let me through, please. What's the hold-up here, you can't all have forgotten the password. Excuse me! I'm Head Boy!" He said rather annoyingly, the group rolled their eyes at Percy, but when a sudden silence went through the group a chill made the hairs on the back of their necks stand up. "Quickly, someone fetch Professor Dumbledore. Now get back all of you. No one is to enter this dormitory until it's been fully searched."

The trio looked at each other quickly, their's eyes widening, the one question on their mind. Where was Cali?

Ginny came busting through the back of the group and stood in front of them her eyes widened and her breathing came out in little pants. "The Fat Lady, she's gone. And Cali, we can't find her!"

The group on top of the stairs had finally parted and there was an audible gasp when they saw the portrait standing there with slashes going across it and chunks missing. The other paintings and pictures started crying and making a fuss over the Fat Lady being gone.

"The headmaster's here, come on move!" Everyone quickly parted while Professor Dumbledore made his way to the top with several other teachers that consisted of Professor McGongall, Lupin, and Snape. He stood in front of the painting, he ran his fingers over the rips and sighed.

"We need to find her, Professor McGongall please go to Mr. Filch at once and tell him to round up the ghosts and search every painting in the castle for the Fat Lady."

Harry looked at Hermione who nudged him forward and cleared his throat. "Erm Professor.." Dumbledore turned around and gave him a pointed look.

"Yes?" Harry shuffled nervously, and fidgeted with his hands.

"Callista Black is missing too, she was in the dormitory before the feast and she never came down."

A cackling voice came from above. "You'll be lucky!" Everyone glanced up to see Peeves the Poltergeist bobbing over everyone and looking excited at all the wreckage.
