When I woke up the next morning, I received a letter. There was no name or who it was addressed to. All it said was that supposedly the one who sent this letter will be arriving soon. Arriving where? I have no clue but I assume it's at our mansion.

From the content of the letter, I could tell it was written by a noble lady not only that but annoyingly there was a kiss mark placed on it too.

I didn't know what to do with the letter since Adrien wasn't in at that time he had business to do out so I was the one who received the letter instead.

"My lady? Are you alright? You look.... sort of out of it today?!" Alya asked.

"Alya, please call me by my name already. I sometimes wonder who your lady was so please just call me by my name. I am not used to it at all!" I sighed as I placed the letter on the table.

"Ugh, fine! But don't blame me if that person shows up all of a sudden since she's always like that." She rolled her eyes.

"She? Do you by chance mean the person who sent this letter?" I asked as I raised the letter to show her.

I could see her looking at me confused, from the look on her face I could tell she was asking how I got it.

"Nino gave it to me said it's urgent and I had to take a look at it since Adrien isn't here."

"Oh."

"Anyway, who is it from?" I asked.

"You'll know soon enough. Oh yeah I wanted to tell you that his highness has arrived. Oh and he asked for you." She told me.

"And you just remembered to tell me that?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Sorry, it completely left my mind."

I knocked on his office's door waiting for his permission to enter.

"Come in."

"You called for me?"

It's been quite some time since we've last talked to each other so it was sort of awkward. For me at least since he seemed completely normal.

"I heard there was a letter, did you check the content of the letter?" He asked signing for me to take a seat as I did.

"Indeed, it just said that someone's on the way and will reach here soon." I told him as I gave him the letter.

He nodded as he read through the letter.

"You don't want to know who that is?" He asked.

I was silent for a moment unsure of how to answer him. I wanted, I definitely did but I wasn't sure if I was in the right place to even wonder that.

"Uhm, someone important I assume?"

He smiled and nodded. "A childhood friend."

"Oh, so it's a childhood friend."

A moment of silence took place before he broke the ice.

"How have you been? I hope I didn't make you feel lonely for not visiting you or hanging out with you."

"In all honesty, I was a little lonely." I told him. "I'm sorry."

"For what?" He asked curiously.

"You know, for asking you something personal." I avoided his eyes.

"I should be the one apologizing. I made you worry when it was really nothing. I just needed some space."

"I understand."

"Have you eaten lunch yet?" He asked.

I nodded.

"I see, do you want to have some sweets together?"

"Right now?" I asked. "I heard you haven't had a meal yet."

"Ah, indeed I haven't."

"You should eat something before should I ask Nino to tell the chef to prepare something?"

He shook his head. " I will go there myself."

"I can tag along if you want,"

"It's alright, thank you for the suggestion though really appreciate it."

"Oh, if you would like some sweets with tea later I'm free."

"I'll keep that in mind. Is it for other days too? Or just today?" He asked.

"Whenever you want." I smiled at him.

"See you later then."
