Too Powerful

"children children" kermit said as he knocked on each child's door. "time to wake up! your mother has fixed breakfast. she said it's time for studying." kermit heard groans as he chuckled to himself.

mildred passes out oatmeal with all 8 children as the talked excitedly about the other kids. "allison has a good wizard laugh" said liyah trying to mimic allison. jada and chloe giggled at liyah's attempt. "diego and luther almost went head to head" zay joked, as jas and javion laughed remembering the scene. mildred smiled at her kids. "i'm glad you had fun the hargreaves kids. maybe we should invite them over for a sleepover one day?" mildred suggested. "ouuu yes mommy that would be fun" liyah said, some of her siblings said  'yeah' with their mouth full.

"alright children. it's time for the language lessons. we're doing spanish." karman announced. "write down what i write down as we speak, okay?" the kids nodded as they grabbed paper and pencil from the desk in the front as they normally do. "alright we're doing greetings. #1 is hola. #2 is adios..."

while the kids we're attending their language lesson. gilbert was on the phone with reginald.

  "tomorrow- we'll discuss when they'll start training" reginald said on his side of the phone. "also number 7 will not be attending- her powers are way too powerful"

gilbert was confused. what did reginald mean "way too powerful". wouldnt that mean he would just have to teach her to control it. gilbert coughed before speaking. "oh- so what do you plan on doing with her then?" he asked.

"i plan on using number 3's powers to erase her memory of having powers" he explained. "making her think her think she's not as important as the others"

"oh- well it's none of my business what you do to your children" gilbert said as he heard footsteps. "i have to go, talk soon"

mildred walked in and stopped at the doorway. "i assume the was reginald?" gilbert nodded. "what did he want?" she asked. "oh err- he said something about one of his children being too powerful" gilbert looked at mildred to see her reaction. "he said he's using the rumor girl to remove her powers. and-" mildred looked at gilbert sideways. "gil.." gilbert nodded. "if the child's powers are too powerful, shouldn't we find a way to help her control them." she stopped for a moment. "what will the child be doing during training? it'd be rude to exclude a child especially so young. gil you know children should be very social around this age" mildred thought more on about the situation but was stopped but gilbert. "mildred, she's not you're kid. so just stop thinking abt it, okay?" she looked him  shocked in his eyes before nodded.

mildred walked into a room clapping her hands. all 8 of her children her there sitting at a rectangular table with 12 chairs. 8 already being filled. mildred walked out to go back to the kitchen and when she came back she brought a cart full of food with her. the two frogs walked in a minute after her with gilbert. "sit! sit!" she told them and they obeyed.

as they ate, they talked about their day. jasmine telling how she stopped another fight between chloe and javion. elijah showing mildred and karman his drawing with them complimenting it.

"i'm glad you all had a wonderful day! i have an announcement though." mildred said as everyone's eyes were on her as usual. "tomorrow will be out official training day. the umbrella academy will come over as well. you all will show each other your powers so everyone know what they're dealing with. and soon your father and mr hargreaves will show you some fighting moves." she said as the kids looked excited. "now just be lucky you don't get to see mommy fight" mildred joked as kids giggled.
