I mentioned previous chapter you take the sword with you but to make it more clear and refined scene, I deleted it out so pretend you never took it.

Visions of a dead family flash before your eyes. Your family. The demon that was a part of you wanted nothing more than to tear them apart. You shuddered at the thought, being fearful of the demon's intense emotions. You think it's because they are what's left of your humanity. What's holding you back from going over the edge and feeling powerful, successful...satisfied.

But because of that weakness, that vulnerability, the demon was tormented to get rid of it. Afraid of future events, and afraid for its survival. You had almost pitied it for that second of fear but now.. you hated it more than anything as you were in the room with chains again. And nothing was in between her and Leo. The only way to save him was to keep fighting your own instincts back under control. You can't hurt him ever again. You can't allow his life to be at stake whenever he's near. So... it's best to not be close, so it won't hurt you.

Sweet scents flooded into your brain, releasing happy hormones that made you feel light. 'He's here.'

A branch snapped under a foot and a tree fell to the ground when your tail lashed at it. "You shouldn't be here." Circling him closely was his warning to get the hell out of here. He was still from the power display, and what that tail could do to him. You were busy devouring a deer that unfortunately crossed your path but now he was in it.

His Adam's apple bobbed, gulping down his fear. "Ienikaeru." (Come home.)

"Hah? Home?... Are you dumb?" You smiled coyly a little bit of your normal voice coming back. "You're afraid of me. Nothing has changed." Smoothly, you turn around and ignore him to continue eating, handling an intestine like candy.

Leo's hands clutched together. You didn't try to eat him just now so he was confused about what to do. But the message he got was to stay away. Run away and never see you again. His own selfish guilt couldn't allow that.

Out of all his brothers, he had to be the most stubborn. "(Y/n), Kaneko needs you."

"Is that all you wanted to say? My prey."

Leo shivered at the sudden red eyes beaming at him. The markings fluctuated across your face and arms, even down your neck. In an instant, he was on the leafy forest bed with you above him. Sniffing out his vital points to finally taste him. Leo should be afraid but for a second he was blushing at your closeness. He shook off the thoughts and focused on what's important to him; you.

Softly, his palm went to your cheek making you face him. You were dry heaving, still fighting to not hurt him. The words you said before were a way to scare him and make him leave. It looked so painful for you he couldn't bear being the cause of it. "This isn't like you (y/n)."

You snarled, baring your canines. "Then get used to it."
