Finally, after the marathon run, Kaneko and (Y/n) make it to April's farmhouse where an interesting family awaits them. Everyone was glad they were back, all but the one who wasn't awake.

I don't appreciate your editing or correction comments. You are not my editor but clearly you have enough time to be one. Please don't read my book just to nit pick at me. The comment regarding the cheesecake wasn't for the reader to eat anyways, the boys and Splinter clearly like cheese. This is my book, if you want Donnie to have a romantic interest go write the book yourself. Clearly you got issues or lack of understanding cus I'm not the first to tell you this.

"You set Kaneko?"
"Yes master." She responds, ready to venture back Into the apocalypse outside the door.
"Good." You creak the door open, April giving you the thumbs up to go. Amazed at Kanekos laid back demeanor, April wonders how well she adapted to the apocalypse and so we're you. Already scarred by the events before, this felt like another day to the two of you. As soon as the door is wide open, Kaneko morphs and you mount her.
"Have a safe trip." April murmurs to not alert any Krang. "Take care of her." She pets Kanekos head, glancing worriedly at you. Kaneko huffs taking charge in doing so. Her hand soon let's go of yours.
"I'll be back." You surely say with a hint of mischief. The two make haste to the roof tops,
"We'll be waiting."
Hours later the hide out got cleaner and more home like. "Looking good guys. Pretty soon this place will feel like a real temporary home!" April says happily.
"We just need a few more decorations. What do you think?" Mikey hanged another one of his art pieces, some of them showing improvement in shading.
"Yeah I think it looks great." She compliments, taking a photo of one of the drawings. "This one's cute."
Splinter was nearby, sweeping the piled dust and lint, looking sad. Concerned Mikey drops what he's doing. "You okay dad?"
Aprils brain waves gave out a calming effect also sensing Splinters worries.
"Forgive me. My thoughts are elsewhere, Michelangelo. It is very dangerous out there. Casey and your brothers have been gone for a long time." Splinter paused, looking around for his other family members. "Where are (y/n) and Kaneko?"
"Oh she left a little bit earlier than the guys. Said she was retrieving some weapons at her place." April says, rereading your texts. "She'll be back soon."
