Chapter 28:Threat

Namjoon POV

After I took shower, I walked to my office and sat down on my chair. I was about to check some papers when one of the drawers of my desk glowed purple through the gaps.

I opened it and pulled out the amulet. The king's calling me. I closed my eyes and mind-link the King using the amulet.

'What is it, My King?' I asked

'Namjoon, are you busy now?'

'Not really. Why?'

'It's actually about the kingdom. How's my granddaughter?' He said and I furrowed my eyebrows.

'Y/N's fine. We just finished training. What's wrong with the kingdom, Your Majesty?'

He sighed in the mind-link. 'It's Daniel. He sent us a note. He threaten me to give him the throne or else, the rouges will attack.' I growled. How dare he?

'What should we do? Should I bring Y/N there?' I took some deep breaths to calm down my wolf.

The mind-link went silent for a moment. He sighed and replied

'Yes. Bring her here. I know she's still not ready to take over but she has to. For the sake of the kingdom. Once she's queen, she will become the most powerful creature in the universe. She will be able stop Daniel and the rouges with just the snap of her fingers.'

'Alright. We'll be heading there this after noon.' 

'I hope you could hurry, Namjoon. I don't know when he will attack. The people are doomed if he attacks even before you arrive.'

'I will, My King. Stay safe.'

'See you soon, boy.'

I opened my eyes and the amulet stopped glowing. I immediately got from my chair and fastly walked to the living room while mind-linking the boys and Y/N to come down.

'How dare that Daniel! Trying to kill our queen and now threatened our king.' My wolf, Gray, growled inside my head. 'Calm down, buddy. Im mad too but save your energy for later.'

Jin hyung came from the kitchen and sat on one of the sofas. He asked me what's wrong but I told him to wait for the others. He just nodded.

Then, Hoseok hyung, Jimin and Jungkook came from the backyard, probably were playing with the children, and sat down. We turned our heads to the stairs as we heard footsteps and here comes the lovely Kim couple.

Tae was hugging Y/N's waist while his head on her shoulder with his eyes closed. Y/N was yawning cutely carefully dragging Tae down the stairs towards us. They must've been sleeping after training seeming how sleepy they looked.

Tae sat down on a single sofa before pulling Y/N onto his lap. Aish. I feel so single. I've been too busy that I didn't have the time to find my mate. So as the other mateless boys here.

And finally, Yoongi hyung came down the stairs with a grumpy sleepy face on. He stomped towards the sofa and mumbled "This better be important since you decided to wake me up." before sitting down next to Jungkook.

"It is important, hyung. The king mind-linked me. Daniel sent a note threatening the king to give him the throne. If not, the rouges will attack." After I said that, all of them growled lowly including Y/N. 

Her blue eyes started flashing even brighter blue as she tried to calm her wolf. Tae caressed her hands and managed to stop Nova from taking over. We all can feel it, Nova was pissed. They both are.

"Does that mean we have to go there?" She said calmly. But we all know how mad she is right now. Her left hand was gripping the sofa trying to supress her anger.

"Yes, Princess. We have to go there so you could take the throne before he does. Once you become queen, you will be able to defeat him and the rouges." I said trying not to trigger her more by choosing my words carefully.

"When will we leave?" This time, Jungkook asked.

"We'll leave this noon. Till then, we get ready to-" Someone cut me off

"We'll leave now." We all looked at Y/N and saw her eyes were glowing. Oh boy.

"But Nova, noon will be the-" I got cut off again.

"I said we'll leave now!" We widened our eyes and bowed our heads in submission at her queen voice.

"Y-yes, Your Majesty." I stuttered, still bowing my head afraid to get on her bad side.

Time Skip

Everyone was upstairs changing their clothes while I was at the backyard talking to the Moonlight pack members.

"Are you sure you don't need us to come with you, hyung? She might need more protection." Soobin suggested which the others nodded.

"No need. We'll be just fine. We'll go there before Daniel does, Y/N will be queen and she can defeat them easily. Besides, we need you guys to look after the Nighthunter pack. And Soobin, I'll put you in charge of keeping the pack safe." I said then put my hand on Soobin's shoulder.

"It's an honor, Alpha. We won't let you down." I nodded.

"Be safe out there." Jisoo said.

"Oppa, keep my unnie safe ok?" I looked at Ara and said

"Of course!" I answered to both of them.

Then, they walked away. Some went to the kitchen and some went to the training field. Someone tapped my shoulder causing me to turn around. It was Y/N. Her eyes were back to normal blue.

"Yes, Y/N?" She looked up meeting my eyes and I could see guilt written on her face.

"I just wanna apologize about earlier this morning. I yelled at you. It...It was Nova. She got angry at that time and took control. I-" I placed my hands on her shoulders and leaned down a bit to match her height.

"It's ok. I understand. It was my fault anyways for trying to go against you when I know how angry you both are getting." I smiled.

"But still, she shouldn't yell at you like that. She could've talk to you nicely even when she's angry. Aish, I should've controlled her better." She looked down.

"Hey, it's alright. It was your queen instinct. You were worried about your people. You were mad at Daniel. It's actually normal and I understand that. Just one thing though." She looked up at me. "Whatever happens, you can't lose control. Ever."

"What happens if I lose control?"

I looked down and sighed deeply. I looked up again. "You can destroy the whole kingdom. But if that isn't enough to soothe your bloodlust, you can destroy the Underworld."

She gasped while covering her mouth with her hands. I let go of her shoulders and stood properly. I looked out at the pups who were happily playing.

"This is why Im warning you, Y/N. You can never lose control of your emotions." I turned my head to look at her with her head down. Then, she slowly nodded.

"We'll be there with you to make sure that doesn't happen. Taehyung will be there for you. So, don't worry, ok? We got your back." I smiled and she gladly returned it.
