Chapter 9:Guardians

Y/N POV (Earlier)

Finally, the school bell rang. I quickly packed my stuff and dashed out of class before Taehyung could even stop me. As I was speed-walking through the halls to put my books in the locker, I noticed Taehyung was out of my sight.

After I put my books, I closed the locker door and run out of the building. I continued running until I arrived at my house. I closed the main door and slid down against it.

"Oh, Nova...I feel so bad for ignoring Tae the whole class" I frowned, still remembering what Chunseo told me.

'What could I do? I don't even have my own body to help you out.' she replied.

"I don't want to hurt him but I can't fight against 3 bitches!" I covered my face with my hands.

'Come on Y/N. Don't be like that! Why don't we go take a run? You know? To clear our minds a bit.'

"I guess that's a good idea but first...let's change my clothes."

I got up and went to my room to change into something comfortable. I wore a hoodie and black pants. I pulled the hood on top of my head, almost covering my face. Apparently, the pill affect was almost wearing off.

Good thing mom wrote the recipe of the pill in her diary or else I would be in trouble covering my ears, tail, white hair and my icy blue eyes.

I got out of the house before locking it and started walking to the nearby forest while my head hanging low. I transformed into my wolf after making sure that no human was watching. Like last time, my necklace turned into a big necklace as my eyes turned from brown to icy blue.

We dashed into the forest as soon as I let Nova took control. I watched through Nova's eyes as she avoided the trees and vines while running. We ran and ran until we smelt 6 scents.

'Uhh, Nova...did you ran into someone's territory?' I asked. 'I don't know. I just ran to where I felt like to.' she replied and that made me worried for some reason.

'Relax, Y/N. As soon as we got in, we get out.' she said. I sighed in her tiny mind.

She continued to run until she finally stopped. There was a grey wolf standing in front of us

'Finally, we found you...' I think the wolf said through mind link. And I think he's an Alpha since his tone was quite menacing.

'We?' Nova and I were confused.

Suddenly, 5 more wolfs came and surrounded us.

'Your Majesty, we finally found you after years of searching' Another wolf said.

'Excuse me? Who are all of you?' Nova asked.

'And don't call us...I mean me, Your Majesty.' I said

Jungkook POV

When we heard her voice, we noticed that there were two voices talking to us. Her wolf and her human but her human sounded very familiar. I couldn't remember from where.

I just sort of recognized the other voice.

'But you are our long lost queen, and we are your guardians' Jin hyung said.

'Guardians, huh? Sorry but we just met.' the queen said

'Your Majesty, please...' Hoseok hyung tried convincing her and we all moved closer towards her making the circle smaller.

But I guess it was the wrong move.

She used her ice powers to blast between me and Jimin hyung. Luckily we dodged it but there was an opportunity for her to run through the gap and she quickly took it.

'My Queen, wait!' I yelled

'Come on! We can't loose her again!' Alpha commanded.

Then, we all started to run after her. Boy, she runs fast, almost loosing us but we could still track her with her scent.

Luck wasn't on our side today since we couldn't smell her scent anymore. Looks like she hid her scent and was pretty good at it. That's it, we lost her just like that.

'Dammit! We lost her.' Yoongi hyung said. We all were frustrated (trustfrated)

Taehyung POV

After they went out on the search party, I made my way to the packhouse which was not too far from here.

Finally, the packhouse was in my view and so as the guards beside the gate. They nodded to me and opened the gate to let me in.

I walked into the big mansion heading towards the backyard, probably where everyone would be. Some werewolf greeted me on my way there.

"Taehyung oppa/hyung!"

I smiled as I saw all the kids, or to be more specifically, the cubs running towards me with their arms stretched out and wide smiles plastered on their faces.

I stopped and kneeled down while opening my arms widely then to be engulfed by the cubs until I fell completely to the ground. The cubs piling on top of me, greeting me.

"Taehyung oppa! We missed you!" One of the cubs, Minji, said.

"Yeah, hyung! Where have you been?" said another cub named Jihoon.

"Ok, kids. Get up before you crush Taehyung oppa"

I looked up and saw Ara walking towards us with a smile. The kids got up and apologized to me while I said that it was ok. Ara is one of the she-wolves who takes care of the cubs. She's a year younger than me.

"Where have you been Taehyung oppa? The cubs have been missing you all. And where are the other oppas?" Ara asked.

"Im sorry we couldn't visit you often like we used to but there are a lot of things that I needed to tell you." I said

"Ok, kids. Why don't you go play while I'll talk to Taehyung oppa for a moment, ok?" She said to the cubs.

"Ok!" Then they all ran to somewhere to play. We both just chuckled.

"Why don't you sit first. You must be tired from school." she said. I followed her and we sat on a bench.

"Well, we were actually busy. We were trying to find the heiress of the throne." I started.

"You mean our long lost queen?" She asked which I quickly nodded.

"About the other guys, they are going on a search for her right now." I said

"Oh, so...what brings you here?" She asked

"Alpha said he was gonna bring the queen here once they find her..."

"And If they don't?" I looked at her and suddenly one of the cubs yelled.

"Hey, look! It's Namjoon hyung and the others!"

I turned around and saw Namjoon hyung and the other boys walking towards us with tired faces. I jogged towards them with Ara behind me and the cubs ran to them also.

"Hey, cubs!" Jin's face quickly turned into a smile seeing the cubs.

"Hyung? What happened? Where's the queen?" I asked. Alpha just sighed.

"She kinda got away." the maknae answered.

"What do you mean she got away?" asked Ara.

"We got her in our circle but she managed to break the circle with her ice powers and ran away." J-hope hyung explained.

"Why didn't you track her down with her scent?" I asked

"We did, Taehyung...but she hid it before we could even catch up to her." Alpha said with a sigh.

'Why did she do that?' Chase asked in my head.

'I don't know, Chase. I don't know.' I replied.
