Water pouring in around
Engulfing
Submerging
Drowning
Trying to stay afloat
Failing
Gasping
Sinking
Thoughts racing
Hurting
Aching
Feeling
Hands reaching out
Touching
Holding
Saving
Helping.
You have a choice,
don't sink.
(A/N): I wrote this for Scarlett. I never knew her, but many did and her loss is awful regardless. I also wrote this with inspiration from a personal experience. I lost my grandmother a year ago to cancer and my great aunt two years ago. They were probably two of the most amazing people to ever come into my life and when I think of them it's hard not to smile. If you've lost someone or are going through a rough time, there's always someone who understands. Don't bottle it up, it makes it worse. If your friends aren't there for you, they aren't your friends. If you need me I'm here. Be strong.
