a few weeks past and it was a week before prom and they were at lunch talking about what they were gonna wear when mike came to the table and without a word grabbed y/ns hand pulling her out of the cafeteria once they were finally out she snatched her hand away and looked at him like he was crazy

Y: what the hell is your problem
Mike: i want you to be my prom date
Y: oh now you want me that's crazy is it because i finally have a fan base or are you done with talyeh for today again
Mike: no i was immature for saying that and i was in the wrong for calling you a nobody it was uncalled for and childish but i want you to be my prom date because you're bad ass like you don't let anyone tell you what to do i like it you have the spirit of a free soul and i'd love to have that in my corner
Y: if you want me to say yes again so you can go and fuck me over once again when will you do it this time after you fuck me because last time was after you kissed me or did you forget that as well
Mike: if i'm being honest y/n i was fool a damn fool you're more than i could ever be and i see that now i do and i'm sorry for doubting you i want to talk to you and i don't mean like we're doing now i mean talk talk and soon date you because i want to be the one to fill your heart and i know this will be a hard decision after the shit i said to you but i'm all in if you're right next to me no i didn't just break up with talyeh i left her almost a month ago before i told you this so i know i'm done with her so y/n will you be my date to the prom
Y: and if i say no
Mike: i mean then you say no
Y: and if i say yes
Mike: then i'd be happy
Y: sure mike i'll be your prom date
Mike: are you serious
Y: yea i'm serious
Mike: thank you alright meet me at my house after school and we'll discuss what colors we're wearing
Y: see you then

mike smiled at y/n before walking inside and she rolled her eyes going in a few minutes after him and walking back to their table

Mattia: what did he want
Y: nothing important now where did we leave off in this conversation
Mattia: we were talking about how robert is never going to get a prom date

the boys laughed while robert flicked them off then they continued the conversation while y/n joined in once the bell for lunch rung they went to their classes school went by pretty fast afterwards they did their usual dance then mattia and the boys got in their car while larray got in the car with y/n and when she parked in front of his house he looked at her weird

Larray: um what are we doing here
Y: you gotta go
Larray: and why is that
Y: because i'm going to mikes house
Larray: why
Y: because he asked me to prom and i said yes now i gotta go over so we can figure out what we're gonna wear
Larray: ok bitch i'm coming too then we're gonna go to prom as a threesome
Y: wait please word that differently
Larray: we're gonna go as a triplet
Y: fine but don't say anything just mind your business

y/n drove back off going to mikes house when they made it they knocked and his mom opened the door so y/n looked at her smiling

M/m: hey do i know you
Y: um no i'm a friend of mikes i'm his prom date i came over so we can talk about what we're gonna wear
M/m: oh well you're pretty what's your name
Y: i'm y/n
M/m: well it's nice to meet you y/n
Y: you too you must be mikes mom
M/m: yes i am it's nice to see a girl coming over for mike usually it's the boys as he says
Y: usually with me it's larray so i'm sure my mom would be glad to see i'm actually going to a guys house
M/m: oh is larray your boyfriend
Y: oh no ma'am he's my best friend
M/m: so why aren't you going with him
Larray: because i'm gay i'm going with someone already
M/m: oh i'm sorry
Larray: no problem over here
M/m: well mike is in his room if you need to know it's upstairs to the right

y/n shook her head and walked in going up the stairs  with larray behind her

Larray: she doesn't know you've been here before
Y: no she was never here when i was here now hush

when they made it to the top of the stairs they knocked on mikes door and a few minutes past before he opened it rolling his eyes then once he saw who it was he apologized and moved to the side to let them come in

Y: dang why you roll your eyes at us
Mike: i thought you were my mom
Larray: why are you rolling your eyes at your mom
Mike: because she's been bothering me all day um why are you here
Larray: to make sure you don't try to get in her pants
Mike: um alright then well y/n come over here i have a few colors we can choose from and you can just-
Larray: imma take a seat
Mike: ok

mike looked at y/n and she looked back trying not to laugh then they walked to his gaming area and sat down looking at the colors he had picked out
