the next hour went by fun and fast they were all dancing and talking until mike grabbed y/ns hand taking her to the middle of the dance floor telling everyone to circle around while she nervously stood there curios about what was going to happen

Y: what's going on
Mike: i have a huge surprise for you
Y: ooo i can't wait
Mike: alright let's count down

while everyone started counting down the boys looked up seeing talyeh and the girls with paint buckets as soon as it said three they went and stood next to y/n so they all got splattered with paint together once it finally stopped pouring down y/n and the boys wiped their eyes then she looked up seeing talyeh fernanda and devyn laughing as well as mike kobe and derek so she went to mike slapping him as hard as she could then walking out with the boys right behind her they walked all the way to the parking lot before she hugged mattia crying and he hugged her back rubbing her back

Robert: hey at least we all got splashed together
Kairi: yea we all look like rainbows
Alvaro: man this suit cost a lot but i mean it looks better i guess
Robert: yea and on the bright side-
Roshaun: robert we are the bright side

when roshaun said that y/n let out a small laugh making the boys laugh as well then larray walked next to them

Kairi: where were you
Larray: fighting
Kairi: who
Larray: mike
Robert: wait what happened
Larray: after y'all walked out i got the bowl of punch and threw it at his head and yes i mean the whole glass bowl then i got on top of him and started beating his ass because no one embarrasses my bitches
Roshaun: aww are we one of your bitches now
Larray: i guess y'all warmed up to me now where's my babe

when larray said that y/n moved out of mattias grip and he walked to her wiping her face then looking at her

Larray: on a good note they splashed you with blue paint you always look good in blue
Y: i guess so
Mattia: ok but for real we're gonna have to walk home because y'all aren't getting paint on my seats

everyone looked at mattia shaking their heads then y/n took off her heels and they started walking back to her house talking about random things and about how they at least had some fun once they made it she walked in first and the boys followed behind her and when her mom heard the door open she jogged downstairs with her dad smiling but their smiles quickly faded when they saw them covered in paint then y/ns dad walked to her grabbing one of her curls looking at the paint then he shook his head in disbelief and kissed her head

Y/d: princess what happened
Y: my stupid prom date set me up
Y/m: mike what but he looked so nice
Y: yea he looked nice but he's not he's nothing but a stupid entitled idiot and i want nothing to do with him
Y/m: i'm sorry he ruined your night honey
Y: it's fine the boys were there too
Y/d: well i'm gonna call y'all the rainbow squad
Y: great name dad

y/n smiled then they all walked upstairs and into her room sitting on the floor until they all individually showered one by one then got dressed the boys got dressed in what they had underneath while y/n and larray got dressed in the clothes they had there once everyone was done they were sitting on her bed with towels on their heads letting their hair dry

Mattia: ok well prom doesn't have to end bad
Alejandro: what do you mean
Mattia: i mean it's eight pm prom technically last all night so come on we're gonna go somewhere fun
Y: like where
Mattia: wherever the night takes us
Y: fine fuck it

the boys clapped then everyone threw the towels off their heads then y/n grabbed her keys and they all ran downstairs and out the door getting in her car mattia got behind the wheel and y/n was about to get in the passenger seat until he made her sit in front of him and larray sat in the passenger seat

Y: what if we crash
Mattia: then we have a bad ass prom story

y/n just smiled and shook her head before they reversed the car and drove off they were going slow until mattia decided to speed up so they drove on an interstate and the boys rolled down the windows sitting on the window sill dancing and messing around while larray controlled the radio once they saw somewhere they could eat at they went to it and rolled the windows up turning down the radio and getting out going inside and sitting at a random table

Mattia: ok if i get this big ass burger and fries will someone share with me
Y: ooo i will
Mattia: alright what are y'all getting
Larray: ehhh everything looks weird i'm getting chicken tenders
Alejandro: i'm getting the ha-cha-cha burger
Y: what's that
Alejandro: uhh a chicken burger with a spicy mexican inspired twist topped with salsa made with stone fruit
Kairi: ok wait that sounds good
Roshaun: i want the eggcelent burger
Robert: that sounds like a burger with an egg
Roshaun: that's exactly what it is
Kairi: imma get what alejandro is getting with a coke
Y: i want a milkshake
Larray: i want mine with some dick
Y: ok maybe i just didn't hear what you just said correctly i gotta be tripping
Mattia: man i don't know but i heard it too
Larray: y'all heard right i was tryna get some closeted dick for prom but fuck boy messed it up
Y: i'm very disappointed that i heard that right

larray the boys and y/n bust out laughing until their waiter came and they started saying their orders
