" Jackson you are needed in E.R." said Doctor deshmukh. I nod and headed towards E.R.

It is another busy day of hospital.two traumas have come in ,one car accident.it seemed pretty intense. That lady had severe injuries on her head and her stomach was half slit in two because of the car's broken windshields.

Luckily she was the only one in car.

I had to make a call to her husband and informed him. He sounded terrified.why wouldn't he?

I still remember how I felt when Lexie had severe labour pain.I was beyond worried and terrified. I didn't know what to do? Whom to call ? Mom was out of city and it was two days journey for her to return.I was all alone by myself.

Lexies parents had abandoned her and she was homeless. Even though I called them for help, twice.

I cant understand how someone can be so negligent towards their own child. I Cant think about leaving my Aarya alone out on street. How could someone do that ?

I mean the thought of being without my Aarya creeps me out.

" Jackson !" I hear someone calling out my name as I reach to E.R.

I looked towards the voice and saw April Looking at me in anticipation.her eyes glittered with unusual hope.

I gulped as I walk to her .she was along with one patient.

" So these are your prescriptions and be cautious. Dont eat anything that will aggravate this wound." She pointed out the bandange on her hands. I stood behind her.

It was teenage girl,who seems to be eighteen.

" how can I help you Dr.Black ?" I ask afraid of her response, what if she asks about that coffee date she had proposed me.

Looking at the girl she said " You can go now " with smile.

Then I see her face turning towards me. She flipped her brown hair back with her hand.they seemed very silky and shiny.

" Why have you been ignoring me ? " wow the question I have been avoiding came straight on my face.

" Umm_" I gulped .

" If you didn't want to go. You should have tell me .If your not interested in me say it. Don't ignore !" She exclaimed.

I felt my heart clench.I could'nt respond to her statement as I felt lump of guilt stucked in middle of my throat.I blinked thrice . I do that when I'm nervous.

" it's not that ?"

" what is it then ? " she snapped.

" I can't date ? " my voice stuttering I strive to proceed. When she cut me off .

" I know your situation very well jackson. I know about your girlfriend and I am so sorry for that, really sorry. and who said about date ?"

" I just asked you for a friendly coffee !" She exclaimed with genuine smile spreading on her pink lips. They seem tender.

I don't know what to say ? She knows about Lexie. Someone in my acquaintance here must have told her. I sigh big.

" I am sorry ,I misunderstood " I blinked thrice , still feeling nervous.

" don't be !" She touched my arms gently ,surprisingly her touch made me shiver a bit.

I nod as our eyes met
