"TALIA ASHLINGS!" I quickly sat up knocking heads with the woman who called to me and rubbed my aching head.

Strange, this feels like Deja vu. Has this happened before?

"Argh! You little-"

"Ugh, I'm sorry Mom. I've told you many times to wake me up more gently." I whined as I helped her up making her look at me in disbelief for what I just said.

"More gentl- Are you mad? Eh? You out here playing Disney princess and sleeping in the rain like there ain't a virus going around." she said as I kept my head down, pinching my arms to keep myself grounded.

"You are 22 Talia. No job no income. You're getting too old for this and don't tell me anything about being a writer. Doh gimme that nonsense eh." She continued as I began to shake, not from the cold, or the rain.

"Now go inside and get yourself dry."

"Yes, Mom," I said with clenched teeth and made my way into the house.

It was now past midnight and I was up writing in one of my dream diaries, trying to remember the dream I had out in the rain. I wrote down every detail I could remember but it always stops when the person blocked the rain from my face and switches to my mom waking me up. And this has never happened before, forgetting a dream not even after 24 hours of waking up but after a few seconds, is unbelievable.

Starting to feel a little frustrated, I finally called it a night and went to bed. Still feeling restless, I decided to go through my phone a bit before I fell asleep.

I should clean out my contacts. Wait.

Sitting up in bed, I stared at the unknown number and got this sudden familiarity. Why? I don't know. Finally getting the confidence to call the number, I dialed it and held my breath waiting in anticipation. It's probably a scam caller or so-

"Yeoboseyo?" A deep male voice answered.

Korean?

"Who-"
