"This is the hall the King has granted your group," Jerry leads, his arm opening to the hallway.

"Thank you," Michonne nods, making her way down to find herself a room among all those given for the night.

"I'm going," Carl nods down the hall as well. I give a nod before we part ways.

"This is bullshit. He could just say 'no'," Rosita mutters to Tara as the two pass by me.

Despite Rick's best effort to get through to King Ezekiel, the King would only say that he'd give his answer in the morning. But, he'd agreed to let us stay here for the night instead of travelling back and forth.  The King made one things clear, though: do not let the Kingdom's people know of the deal with the Saviors. There was only a handful of people that knew of the deal to begin with- the King that made the deal and those that delivered the supplies to the Saviors.

"Hey," a voice whispers, tugging my arm from behind.

"Hey," I return, turning around and coming face to face with Rick.

"I need your help," he states.

"Anything," I nod, becoming used to these 'missions' he'd been giving me.

"I trust you with this.. The others-" he cuts himself off, nodding to Daryl and Jesus who walk down the hall. As they're a distance away, he continues.

"The others, they don't quite get all of this. You know Negan first hand," he says.

"Could say that," I huff.

Having someone close to me killed by Negan's hands? Check. Meeting Negan? Check. Having an uncomfortable amount of personal space invaded by Negan? Extreme check.

"I'm gonna talk to Ezekiel- get through to him as much as possible. That Richard guy, he gets it, too. He's on our side. Those other two up there with him- I need you to get through to them," he names off.

"Get through to the Court, get through to the King," I understand.

"Exactly," Rick nods, "We only got tonight and in the morning before he makes his decision. Can you handle that?"

"You know I can," I retort.

"All right. Good luck," he nods, patting my shoulder and beginning to turn back around.

"Wait," I call, causing him to look back at me.

"Do we have to get through to the tiger, too?" I ask.

Rick scoffs, pointing his finger to me, "Don't get smart."

"Hey, you're the one Morgan has been training, right?" I ask the blonde haired male.

"O-oh, yeah. Yeah, I am," he stutters.

"I'm Jade," I introduce, holding my hand out to him.

"Benjamin," he greets, shaking my hand.

Smiling, I sit beside him on the stairs of the gazebo.

"You're from the Alexandria group," he notes, setting his staff beside him.

"I am," I nod then point to the familiar wooden stick, "Has Morgan been training you long?"

"Kinda since he got here," Benjamin answers.

"I've seen some of the stuff he can do. You're learning from one of the best."

"Yeah, he's been really cool. Helpful," he nods.

"I saw you're on the King's court. How hard is it?"

"Hardest part about it is not laughing at strangers' reactions to seeing Shiva for the first time," he grins at the ground.
