Amid the chaos in my mind of not knowing where anyone was or how the battles were going, the only peace I found was watching Judith's sleeping form.

But, as Enid asked for me to come outside, that too was disturbed for the time being.

"What's going on?" I ask as we meet up with Kate by the front doors.

"Jesus is being stupid," Kate sighs.

The three of us make our way outside together, spotting the main gates wide open.

"Mom?" I ask, watching her as she crosses her arms in disdain.

"I don't know if this is a good idea or not," she says, not giving clarification, "But, I'm not letting them inside. Not yet."

Enid and I step closer to the gates, peering outside to see dozens of people with their hands tied and backs against the wall as they sit side by side.

"Saviors," I breathe out.

"Jesus brought them here. They were in that old satellite outpost- the one we took out before. But, they surrendered and Jesus says we can't kill them," Maggie explains.

"Like hell we can't," I shake my head.

"We can't," Jesus denies, walking over from where he stood among them.

"You can't," I argue, "Watch me."

I reach for my gun, Enid following my actions before Jesus rushes to grab my hand to stop me.

"They're innocent people. They surrendered," he sternly says, holding my wrist gently.

"They weren't innocent when we were losing people," I remind.

"They were bystanders. These people are workers," he explains.

"Tara thinks we should execute them," Maggie says, scanning the line.

"And Tara is right," I say.

"They surrendered," Jesus repeats, expecting that to be enough.

Helplessly, I look to Maggie who sighs.

"We'll decide together. We have to send our letters soon- I'll tell everyone in our letter what happened. Everyone has a say so in this," she decides.

"Can we kick him out, too?" Enid asks, motioning over her shoulder.

Looking to her direction, I spot Gregory looking around aimlessly.

"When did he come back?" I ask, the sight of the man annoying me.

As Maggie and Kate returned from the Sanctuary, they explained that Gregory was indeed there before everyone. And that he threatened everyone at the Hilltop to leave or be banished from Hilltop only for everyone to stand by Maggie instead.

"Just now. He was in Gabriel's car," Maggie answers.

"And where's Gabriel?" I ask, not seeing him anywhere.

"Exactly," Maggie frowns.

"So, he stole Gabriel's car? Gabriel could still be at the Sanctuary?"

"That's what it seems like," she nods.

"Great, so we tie him up and put him with these assholes," I point between Gregory then to the Saviors, "If he left Gabriel for dead, he's even more of a traitor than before."

"That's not a bad idea," Kate sides.

A few seconds of silence, Maggie nods, "It's not a bad idea at all."
