Chapter 5

POV: Addison

I slowly opened my eyes as I woke up to the sound of my sister's voice. I could hear her singing from her room, I guess she's making a YouTube video.

I yawned and stretched before I finally decided to get up from my bed.

My sister's voice was soon replaced with a guy's singing voice. It was really good. I couldn't make out who it was, but it sounded a lot like Riker.

Then I heard them both singing together. Their voices harmonized together perfectly. It sounded amazing.

I smiled as I went towards my closet picked out an outfit for the day. Just something casual.

I started to head across the hall to go shower as I decided to do something. I went back towards my window and opened the curtains, only to find Ross and Ryland tossing a balloon back and forth to eachother.

I smiled and shook my head before closing my curtains and going to take a shower.

"I have a feeling that video will be getting tons of views." I heard Jaelynne say as her and Riker walked into the living room.

"Eh, it might. Hopefully." Riker shot a smile at her before looking at me, "Oh, Addy. Ross wanted you to hang out with him today. So, go on over there whenever you feel like it."

I smiled, "I'll just head over there right now. By the way, you two sounded great." They both smiled back at me before I got up and walked out the door to go next door.

I was about to knock before the door opened, revealing Rydel.

"Going somewhere?" I questioned, giggling softly at her.

She blushed and smiled a little, "Um, yeah. I'm gonna go hang out with this guy I like..."

"Awww. Have fun!" I exclaimed.

She giggled, "Thanks." She moved to her side as she let me inside and she walked outside.

I found Rocky on the couch, talking to a blonde headed girl I've never seen before. She was pretty.

He stopped talking to her as he looked at me, "Hey Koala."

I laughed a bit, "Hey Sloth. Um, is Ross here?"

"Yeah, he should be in his room with Ry." He explained as he pointed towards the staircase. I smirked at him a little bit before I walked upstairs.

I stopped in front of Ross and Ryland's door and knocked. I figured it would be better than just barging in. Plus, it was the polite thing to do.

The door opened, revealing Ross with a huge smile on his face.

"Hey." He greeted me as he let me walk inside.

"Hi." I said as I sat down on his bed, seeing Ryland laying on his bed tossing the balloon around. Ross sat next to me.

"I just figured you would wanna hang out with us instead of sitting at your house all day." Ross suggested.

I giggled a bit, "Well, thankyou Ross."

"No problem." He smiled. God, his smile kills me.

"Have you guys ever noticed how weird the word 'peanut' is? It's like pee and... Nut." Ryland said, causing Ross and I start burst out laughing. Ry was laughing, too.

"I'm coming, guys." I said as I walked upstairs to go find Ross and Ryland. And in case you're wondering, yes we're two nineteen year olds and a seventeen year old playing hide and seek.

I heard some some footsteps coming from the bathroom, so I knocked on it, just in case.

No one answered, so I slowly opened the door and I didn't see anyone. I walked in there and I saw the shower curtain move a bit. I smiled a little before moving it, revealing Ryland sitting in the tub.

I laughed, "Found ya. Come on, let's go find Ross."

He laughed as well, "So, I heard you called Ross hot?" He questioned as he got out of the tub.

I stopped and just kept looking at him. I could feel my face heating up. "Um, yeah. I did. But he called me hot, as well."

Ryland smirked a bit, "I always knew you two had a thing for eachother."

I rolled my eyes, "Let's just go find him." I said as I turned around and walked out of the bathroom to go find Ross. Ryland was following behind me.

Ross, Ryland and I stopped playing hide and seek. We're all hanging out in their room again. I'm just sitting on Ross' bed while watching Ross and Ryland sit on the floor, playing a video game.

I couldn't stop thinking about the little conversation I had with Ryland earlier.

I always knew you two had a thing for eachother.

Okay so I might have a small crush on Ross, but that doesn't mean we have a thing for eachother. We're just friends.

Wait, did I just say I have a crush on him?

Yep. Well, I'm screwed.

But it's just a small crush. It doesn't mean anything. And even if it did, Ross is this super hot famous guy who could get any girl he desires. And that girl would definitely not be me.

My thoughts were interrupted when I felt that balloon hit my forehead.

I looked up to see Ross and Ryland standing there, looking at me. The television and game system were turned off, and their games were put away.

"... What?" I questioned as I looked at them.

"Do you wanna go get some food?" Ross asked. I nodded as I got up from the bed and followed Ross and Ryland out the door.

We were currently hanging out at McDonald's. Just eating and talking and such.

I still couldn't stop thinking about my little crush on Ross. How would he feel if he knew? Awkward? Because I definitely feel awkward about this.

I need to get over him. He's my best friend, and it's never going to be anything more than that.

"Addy, are you okay?" Ross questioned me. I looked at him and nodded. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong. I just have a lot on my mind." I explained. Ross looked at me again before he continued eating his food.

"Hey Ross, you should take Addy to the set tomorrow." I heard Ryland say.

Ross' eyes lit up and he smiled, "Yeah! Do you wanna come to the Austin & Ally set with me tomorrow?" He asked me.

I smiled softly, "Sure, but. What would I be doing? Wouldn't you be busy?" I questioned.

Ross shook his head, "Nah, we're not gonna start filming the episode until Wednesday. We're gonna get our scripts and practice our lines. That's how it goes every week."

"Oh, that's cool. Well then, sure. I'll come to the set with you tomorrow."

Ross' smile grew, "Great! Just be ready to leave around 8:00 tomorrow morning."

I gave him a thumbs up as I continued to eat my burger.
