EMMA  POV~

Yesterday was indeed chaotic. And last night's sleep I got was not enough, my eyes were still heavy-lidded, but I shrugged it off. I thought of not going to school today but being his partner I can't leave Chris to handle the presentation on his own. So I decided to go.

And as if the school knew about my bad mood, it was more peaceful than usual. Everyone was present in the hallway, talking with their buddies, everyone had a smile on their face. But everything was quieter than usual. I started to overthink. I panicked and ran towards our classroom and bumped into a girl by the entrance. It was Ryunjin from the same class as me. Fortunately the both of us did not end up on the floor. Seeing my panicked face she opened her mouth to say something but was cut off by me. 

"Ryunjin-ah, scream at me. Please." I yelled straight at her. Confused, she blinked a few times before holding me by my shoulder and shaking me hard, and screaming at my face. Literally. I could hear her. She was too loud causing me to cover my ears. After she was done I kept my hands on my chest and exhaled in relief.

"What was that for?" She asked taking her hands off my shoulder and leaving them by her sides. 

"The hallway was too quiet. I thought I became deaf. That's why I asked you to scream. And thank you so much." Hearing this she facepalmed herself. Shaking her head and crossing her arms she said

"You're so dramatic." But she was startled when someone put an arm around her shoulder and gave her a peck on the cheek. And that someone being Changbin. Her boyfriend. Yes, Changbin has a girlfriend. I made a disgusted face.

"Girls, what's with the screaming?" He asked looking at us back and forth.

"Emma here thought she was deaf when the hallway became quiet. So she asked me to scream." She said causing him to burst into big laughter leaning onto her shoulder to which she almost stumbled. She removed his arm from her shoulder causing him to faceplant to the ground. She laughed at this and started running away to which he stood up on his feet and began chasing his girlfriend.

"Yah stop." 

I cringed at the couple, but I low-key found it cute. I chuckled at them and went into the classroom to find Lee Know and Chris talking to each other. When Lee Know saw me he waved at me to which I waved back.

"You aren't mad at me anymore?" Lee Know asked as I hung my backpack to the side of the table. I tilted my head confused as to why should I be mad at him.

"Why should I be ma-" Then I remembered and quickly crossed my arms over my chest and turned away from him to Chris who was beside him. Lee Know laughed at my silliness to which I rolled my eyes. 

"Hey, Emma," Chris said which I responded with a 'hi'. Lee Know stood in between us so I would look at him, but I pushed him sideways and asked Chris

"You ready for the project?" From my peripheral view, I could see Lee Know with a pout.

"Yeah. But did you rest well?" He asked me with concern evident on his well-structured face. I nodded with a smile causing him to smile too. Lee Know was still standing there looking at us. 

There were ten more minutes for the bell but Mr. Kang came. Guess classes for 3-1 is starting ten minutes early. 

"I know you won't be mad at me forever so I don't have anything to worry about." Lee Know said with a smirk before going to his seat. I rolled my eyes at that and Chris laughed at us before he went to his seat which was away from us, sadly.
