A/N POV~
Look at them, so sweet, so happy.
I wish we were like that...I hate that we ended up like this...
...broken.
Why did you have to do it? Why?
Ain't no looking back, now you're dead and gone~
My love is gone too~
All my love is go-o-o-o-o-o-ne~
These were the thoughts running around Emma's head as she gazed at a young couple crossing the road holding hands with smiles on their faces. Struggling to rest her head on the bus window with her headphones on, she was listening to Gone by Rosé. Here she was just acting as she was starring in the music video. So don't worry, she didn't go through a heartbreak or something. She was just feeling the song. She also managed to drop a tear, to get the vibe, ignoring the weird looks she was getting from her fellow passengers.
They might think she was crazy. But does she care? Hell no...
"Dear, are you okay?" An old lady patted on Emma's shoulder. She was dressed in a pair of straight pants with a floral shirt tucked in and a woolen cardigan giving her warmth from the cold climate of the month of November.
Emma couldn't hear the lady properly. At the touch, she turns towards her and took off her headphones to rest them around her neck. She was about to get up from her seat to let the lady have it instead, but then she made Emma sit back by pushing her downwards by the shoulder. She shook her head with a gentle smile and asked again.
"I asked if you were okay. You were crying."
She probably thought Emma was going through something bad enough to make her cry. Emma mentally patted her shoulder at how good of an actor she was. So not wanting to fool the sweet lady for showing concern which seemed genuine, she shook her head with a sad smile.
"Everything's going to be alright. okay?" She said patting her head with a warm smile. Emma just smiled and gave a nod. When the lady got settled in her seat, Emma went back to filming her music video.
She was busy being herself that she didn't realize the bus reached the stop near her school until the old lady from earlier gave her head a pat from the back. She took off her headphones and looked back at the lady to see her pointing outside the window with a grin. She followed the lady's finger and saw that they had reached her destination. She sheepishly laughed at the lady before thrusting her headphones into her bag and quickly wiping her lone tear with the back of her hand. She then got off the bus, not forgetting to wave goodbye at the sweet lady.
~
The school entrance, as always was crowded by the girls fangirling over a group of boys. Or as she likes to say, the group was being mobbed by the girls.
Emma was friends with them. The boys. Fortunately, one of them happens to be her best friend. Lee Know. The group is of eight members, but one isn't in Korea now. Emma has never seen him. They always changes the topic whenever she asks them about him. Even if Emma was a person who tends to get curious about everything, especially secrets, even if it was none of her business, she tries not to annoy her friends into telling her who he was.
Now back to her friends. Even if they are so popular they aren't mean. You could say, they are the good kind of popular kids. Not the rude and bullying kind. But their fangirls (excluding some nice ones)...well they are the exact opposite. Two-faced b*tches. Emma hates talking about them, so Ima stop. If I continue, she would end up running up to one of them and punching them hard on their make-up-caked face. Ignoring them she managed to walk past the crowd.
