"Saint, I want to introduce you to someone"

"Hello Saint"

"Zee"

"You both know each other," Hailey asked.

"Yeah, we met last summer," Zee said

"Wait really? I thought you only met with girls when you visit Paris"

"I'm an exception," Saint said, he wasn't going to back down and act all vulnerable when Zee was standing there acting like he hadn't dumped him a year ago and left him broken. "We met by accident, or to be exact we got close because of an accident"

"You call that an accident? To be accurate you saved that little girl from that accident and hurt yourself" Zee said while looking at Saint

"Woah... Saint I know you are brave and all I didn't know you were such a hero" Hailey said

"Anyhow, you didn't tell us who this gentleman here is?" Cedric couldn't stop being curious.

"Oh yes ... Zee this is Saint I literally found him on the streets showing his magic with his instrument and this is Cedric, I've known him since school he is a family friend and he is also Saint's manager"

"Manager?" Zee questioned, "last time I checked you didn't need a manager did you Saint ?"

"Well, time changes Zee along with that people change too, thanks to Cedric I am now a professional and not to brag I am also exclusive," Saint said cockily, Hailey and Cedric didn't find it weird because that's the image Saint has created for himself with them. But Zee's eyes widened in confusion, and he smirked at Saint's words.

"That you are," Cedric said as he walked closer to Saint and threw his arm over his shoulder and looked proud. Hailey and Saint knew that Cedric was indeed proud of Saint and his achievements in the past year. But for Zee, the scene was conveyed differently and it was clear in a third person's eyes that Zee was getting angrier by the second looking at Cedric and Saint's behavior.

"Haha anyhow, guys" Hailey started "this is Zee, he is from Thailand and we are~"

"She is my girlfriend" Zee cut Hailey

"I am?" Hailey asked and looked at Zee for a second and then she said "yes, I am his girlfriend, we have been dating... That's right from... A month"

Cedric was dumbfounded, he retracted his hand from Saint's shoulder and looked at Hailey without knowing what to do next, right on cue he got a call and he excused himself to go and attend it. In Saint's case, he wasn't dumb out of all the things he got to know about Hailey in the past year is that the girl is very bad at lying and he can easily make out when she is not being honest. He understood that something was not right and Zee was probably bluffing, and he was making Hailey play along with him. Saint smiled like he had no issue with the information just given to him and said.

"That's great, congratulations... Both of you I mean, Zee you finally found the one you have been looking for and Hailey I did not know you actually had it in you but anyhow I am so happy for you" Saint said which again made Zee surprised and for a millisecond his eyes turned sad.

"Hehe...hehe... Yeah, I mean ... It's about time I find a man right, hehe right" Saint tried so hard to not laugh at what Hailey just said because everyone knows that with all her tight schedules 'a man' is the last thing she needs for herself.

"Saint?" Cedric called from a distance

"Excuse me," Saint said and he left and went to the sad-looking Cedric.

Zee couldn't break his gaze from the one moving away from him, he clenched his teeth when he saw Saint's face which turned worried looking at Cedric, Zee could only think, 'does he not care for me at all? I've come back after one year and that's all the reaction I get from him'
