The next morning I woke to a loud, high pitched squeal. Molly.
"Oh my god! We're leaving today!" Sang Molly as she walked out of the bathroom holding her pink toothbrush, smothered in tooth paste.
"I know, Molly." I grumbled, still far too tired to even think about being excited.
"Get up, lazy bones!" Spoke Molly around the toothbrush that was now in her mouth.
"Noooo...I'm too tired. I'll come down for breakfast in a minute." I mumbled, hoping to satisfy Molly, so she would leave and I could go back to sleep. Putting my pillow over my head, I groaned an inaudible sound.
"Suit yourself. But if you're not down there by 7:00, I'm coming back up to get you." She said as she walked into the bathroom to rinse her mouth. "Bye bye." She shouted before leaving the dorm and slamming the door loud enough to be sure I was wide awake.
Not even five minutes after Molly has left, I heard a loud knock on the door.
"Molly!" I groaned, "I told you I'd be down in time to leav-" I'd already walked to the door, opened it and was extremely surprised to see who was stood there. I found myself staring in the most amazing eyes I'd ever seen, even better than Alex's. However, kind of similar.
"Not Molly." Nick said with a small shrug of his broad shoulders. I felt my eyes scan up and down his body. He was wearing jeans and a casual t-shirt and he looked sexier than ever. I could make out his finely toned abs under his t-shirt and his strong arms bulging from his sleeves. Even though I'd only met Nick recently, I found myself being drawn to him. More than I had ever been drawn to Alex.
"No you're not." I mumbled, completely distracted. Nick cleared his throat, making me wake up from my daydream and blush with embarrassment. Then I remembered what he was like yesterday, so rude and cold, and the blush subsides and anger and my own coldness replace it. "What do you want, Nick?" I asked rudely.
"Umm..." Nick looked surprised by my cold approach. "I was told to make sure you were awake by Professor Watson." He said looking down.
"Well...as you can see, I'm very awake. So if that's all..." I pushed the door, meaning to close it but was stopped by Nick's foot.
"That's not all actually." He announced before pushing past me and walking straights into my room.
"Please," I said sarcastically, "come on in." I gestured with my hand, even though Nick was already making himself comfortable on my desk chair.
"I also came to talk to you..." Nick said." About my little brother." At this comment, I was shocked.
"You want to talk about Alex?" I questioned, amused. "Why?"
"Well as you can probably tell we don't really get on that well."
"That's an understatement." I murmured
"Yes, well we have a complicated past."
"How complicated?" I asked my curiosity getting the better of me.
"Too complicated to discuss right now." Nick replied. "Anyway, despite our complicated past, I still want him to be happy..."
"Okay..."
"...and I think you could make him happy." I felt myself flush and widen my eyes with surprise.
"That's what this is about? Me and Alex?" As I said the last part I saw Nick visibly wince, but before I could barely notice it, it was gone and he was calm and collected again.
"Yes." Was all Nick said. We sat in silence for a moment, me shocked and Nick just being Nick. " I'll admit..." He began after a while,"...you are very pretty, beautiful even. And I feel drawn to you. But I won't let this happen again, never. I won't do this to him again" He said almost as if he was speaking to himself more than me. "So I need to stay away from you, for Alex's sake. He deserves to be happy." I'm completely speechless. He felt it too. This strange pull I felt towards Nick, he felt it towards me.
I looked up to find that Nick was now stood facing me. He took a step closer to me and our breathing mingles.
"But.." He said breathlessly," ...I need to know. I need to do this just once." He leaned in closer, our lips only inches away. I felt my eyes flutter and I knew exactly what Nick intended to do.
"Wait I can't." Nick hesitated. I stepped back as Nick turned away from me and ran a hand through his hair, making him even more attractive then before.
"Then don't, it's fin-"
"Screw it." Nick said under his breath before he turned towards me.
"Nic-"
Before I can even finish my sentence, Nicks lips are crushed against mine and the hardness of his body is pressed against mine. I felt an electric current swim through my entire body. My arms moved on their own accord and began to wrap around Nick's neck and tugged on his short hair, as one of his hands wrapped around my waist and the other cupped my jaw. He gently bit my bottom lip. My lips responded to his, moving in mirror image and then I felt his tongue flick over mine and I felt myself sinking, sinking into him... I forced a hand between us and lightly pushed on his chest, enough to break the contact of our lips. We both stood panting for air, leaning our foreheads together.
"We can't..." I whisper breathless. "...you said so yourself." I stepped out of Nick's embrace and separated myself. "That shouldn't of happened." I whispered, looking into Nick's eyes. I saw a flash of hurt, but not for long before it is covered and Nick nods.
"I'm sorry." I heard him murmur, before he walked out of my room and closed the door.
