"What are you doing here?" I heard Alex ask angrily from behind me. The smirk on the sexy strangers face turned into a full grin as he crossed his arms and spoke.
"Good to see you too brother."

"I said, what are you doing here?" Alex repeated, the increasing anger in his voice noticeable as he stepped in front of me and faced this man who claimed to be his brother.
"Do you wanna tell him, professor, or should I?" The stranger said, directing his question at Watson and completely ignoring Alex.
"Well...as I said there has to be seven members and-"
"No." Alex said determinedly. "No way. He's not even a student here." He pointed at the stranger, not moving his eyes away from him.
"Doesn't matter. Just because he transferred doesn't mean he can't be chosen for a team." The headmaster answered.
"Wait...who even are you?" Asked Lola, standing and looking at Alex's brother.
"I'm Nick Hayes. Alex's broth-"
"STEP- brother" Alex interrupted.
"I didn't know you had a brother. But I see why you kept him a secret, I mean I wouldn't want to be known as the ugly sibling either." Lola rudely stated, admiring Nick and laughing at Alex. Everyone glared or scowled in her direction.
"Anyway, nice to have you joining our team, man. I've heard great things about you." Spoke Mace, trying to be civil.
"Really?" Nick asked. "That's weird, 'cause I'm a dick." He added. I couldn't help the small smile that sprung to my lips and the tiny laugh that almost escaped. At least it didn't seem like he was lying.
"That's enough of that." The professor intercepted. "Everyone take a seat." Everyone, but nick who stayed standing, sat back in their chairs. "I want everyone to work together while training. You need to learn to get along with your teammates-" he looked pointedly at Alex and Nick, "-and learn to trust each other and work together. Each of you will have private sessions with either Coach Faulkner, Professor Greene or I. You will also have group training. However, you will not continue to go to class. You will be moved out of your dorms, and into the secret headquarters in the mountains. And more importantly you WILL keep this to yourself, telling others could put you in grave danger." He paused for a moment allowing everyone to take in the information.
I felt I was taking it pretty well, considering in the last fifteen minutes I had found out my school doubled as a secret service, I was to join this secret service, as were all my friends. The guy I could-be-maybe-dating has a brother who he hates, his brother is also joining the secret service with my friends and I. And I have to leave my dorm. I was fine until I realised something.
"Now, your first session of training will be on Monday morning, first thing. Your first session is as a team, but when you arrive you will be given a schedule of your training for the next couple months. Any questions?" The professor asked.
"Do we have to do this?" I asked. It was the only question running through my mind, but it must have not even entered the minds of my new teammates as they all turned and looked at me confused.
"You don't want to do this, Ali?" Asked Alex, with a slight frown on his face. "I have to work with a brother I hate, but I still want to give this a shot." He continued.
"I just want to know if we have a choice." I explained, looking away from Alex, towards the professor.
"You always have a choice, Ali." He answer truthfully, looking me straight in the eyes.
"Then I don't want to do it" I said, before pushing back my chair, standing and walking out of the office.
