The End With You

7 days passed and Miranda was ready to go test her cure out on someone.

"So what's the plan?" Ben asked as he put his gun into his pocket.

"Um I'm just hoping we find a single one and we can drop it on them and sees what it does from a far."

"Miranda you are thinking about this like it's the safari." Ben said and Miranda chuckled.

"Think about it Ben it sorta is. This is a rare species that we are looking at." Miranda said hugging him.

"Okay if we find a slow walker or the easily distracted. You come up behind them and drop it on them." Ben responded wrapping his arms around her body.

Another week passed and Miranda and Ben were on a store run. It was like regular grocery shopping except you have to be prepared to fight for your life but on the bright side everything was free but not really the bright side.

Miranda put toiletries and everything else she could think of into the basket.
She turned alert when she heard something being knocked over.

"Ben is that you?" Miranda questioned.

"I'm on the aisle to your right...I was going to ask if that was you." Ben responded.

"So there here." Miranda responded walking to where Ben was. He slid his hand in hers as they looked around.

Ben pointed up to the medal mirror on the ceiling and Miranda saw a woman roamer. Who slowly moved. Her eyes were completely black staring blankly, jaw snapping open and closed and occasionally she hissed.

"Okay so here's our plan." Miranda said and Ben scooted closer to her.

"She's an easily distracted one. We can roll something front of her. From this aisle and she won't see you.
Then I can come up behind her and drop it on her while she is looking at what ever can or something." Miranda said making her plan.

"Be careful baby." Ben said and Miranda's heart flutter at his words.

She took the cure out her bag and she walked to the other aisle.

Ben rolled a can from the aisle out onto the main aisle. He listened and looked in the mirror as the walker looked at it intrigued and she made an animal sound similar to an ape. He did it again and again as the woman was fixated on it.

Miranda tiptoed and walked up behind the undead woman. Ben kept distracting her and he was nervous.

Miranda reached out as her hand shook and she dropped some of her cure on the woman's neck.

Miranda watched as immediately the section of her skin started to change. The woman snapped her head at Miranda and hissed. Ben came from the aisle nervous and when the woman lunged forward. Ben shot her head in the head.

Miranda's eyes widen looking as the woman dropped to the ground.

"Ben oh my gosh. Why did you do that." Miranda whined.

"She was going to bite you Miranda. Look at you. You have blood on your nose from her. That's how close she was.

"I had to see it work."

"And you die in the process hell no." Ben argued.

"Benjamin."

"Miranda I don't want to hear it. If it comes between you and one of them. I'll shoot them right between their eyes every time. I'm not loosing you to them. You’re mine and you’re stuck with me end of the dam discussion." Ben yelled and Miranda mouth was open but then closed as his assertiveness caused a shuddered to rush through her body. Was she seriously getting aroused in this moment. Him calling her his took the cake and she honestly wanted him.
