Popsicles and peppers in hand, Seojun and Jiyoo took the short walk back to the blonde's apartment. The two walked with happiness in every step, excited to finally get to the main event that they had been waiting for. Though, as they walked, Jiyoo was carrying his reward for winning the race like a small child. Hugging it as if he were to let it go it would disappear. Seojun took notice and emitted a small chuckle.

Jiyoo pouted slightly in his direction, "What's so funny?"

"Uh- Nothing," he started to blush a bit, sheepishly scratching his nape, "you just look really cute when you hold things like that."

The blonde was speechless and only shifted the object in his arms slowly to hold it normally. He was only a tiny bit embarrassed. Surprisingly enough, hugging things was like a habit for him, he never held things like others. In fact, when he was just a kid, his mother would have to force him to hold things regularly. It never stuck, clearly. So now the small blonde was left with holding things like he used to. Jiyoo didn't want this embarrassment to last much longer. He could feel his cheeks and the rest of his face heating up. Obviously Seojun's non stop teasing was having his way with him. Thankfully, he could already see his house in the distance.

He felt a sense of relief as he crossed the threshold of familiar surroundings. Jiyoo's average sized apartment always seemed to calm his nerves and boy, was he thankful for that. He calmly strolled into his kitchen, placing his box of popsicles in his freezer in the process, but not before taking one out for himself. Excited for his reward, he quickly shucked the wrapper off of it and stuck the cold dessert in his mouth.

Seojun watched from across the kitchen, hand slyly place under his chin after setting the peppers on the counter, happy the blonde was enjoying his treat.

"So no 'thank you Junnie'?" he taunted, pretending to sound hurt.

The blonde cocked his head to the side at the nickname, "Junnie? I'm not calling you that."

"And why not?"

"Cuz it sounds weird, dummy."

"Well I think it sounds cute for your information," Seojun sassily crossed his arms and looked at the blonde with slanted eyes.

Eyes like that almost made Jiyoo choke on his popsicle, "Don't look at me like that, you crazy. And I'm not calling you Junnie, it's still weird!"

"Fine, fine, but I have a feeling you'll call me that eventually," he held his arms up in defeat.

"Whatever," the blonde finished his popsicle momentarily and put his apron back on, "Are you ready to start now?"

The raven nodded with a big smile and proceeded to wrap the small apron around his waist, "Ready to learn from the best!" He gave a thumbs up.

The blonde giggled as he grabbed the remaining ingredients he needed.

"So first, you're gonna want to wash your hands, obviously."

Seojun was quick to follow the blonde's orders and looked back at him, ready for his next instruction.

"Let's see... now you can brown the meat while I make the marinate."

"Brown?"

"Mhm. Medium-low heat, oil the pan, brown every side of the meat."

Seojun responded with an 'ohhhh' and carefully followed the instructions. While he was doing that, Jiyoo had gotten out his blender to make the marinate. Looking through the recipe, he noticed a lot of flavoring went into it. Knowing that only made him want to finish cooking even more, he was getting more and more impatient but moved on anyway. Inside the blender went crushed tomatoes, vinegar, garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, oregano, chipotle peppers, and adobo. Before Jiyoo pressed the blend button, he had forgotten about the guajillo peppers they had just bought. Jiyoo slipped away from his blend station and over to where the taller was supposed to be browning the meat. While grabbing the peppers next to him, he took a glance over at how Seojun was doing.
