Zayn's Pov:

I walked into a random town, and everyone just ignored me.

Which I was grateful for, because I didn't want people to notice me.

I was kind of surprised, because I was wearing my blood soaked flannel.

I had thrown it on, because I didn't want to waste a clean shirt.

Hopefully, nobody would notice or care.

I must of looked crazy, because I was walking through town with bags, and blood all over my shirt.

But I had to stay invisible, otherwise Harry and my parents could find me.

I didn't want that.

I wondered if Harry had read my note.

That was the only closure I was allowed.

None with my mom, and sperm donor.

I hadn't wanted to make amends with him anyways.

Bags in hand, I walked into a gas station and went into the bathroom.

There were two stalls, and I locked myself in one.

I desperately needed to clean up, and formulate a plan of some sort.

So I washed my hands, and splashed cold water on my face.

Think Zayn think.

I would try to get a job, and go from there.

Only problem is, I didn't see a single help wanted sign in any store.

But that wouldn't stop me.

I would be homeless, if that's what it would take.

But first try to get a job.

That was my top priority.

I left the gas station bathroom, and headed into mutiple stores.

To fill out aplications, only problem was they all needed a current address.

Which was majorly screwing me over, seeing as how I didn't have one right now.

But I would make up some bullshit, and worry about that later.

I had gotten a fake id, specifically for this reason anyways.

To be able to cash my checks, that would be helpful.

Why did I even have a fake id anyways?

Doesn't matter Zayn focus on the task.

I get so distracted so easily.

I filled them all out, and returned them.

Then where to go?

I had nowhere in mind, but my stomach growled loudly.

I hadn't eaten anything since yesterday.

I think I ate a apple or orange for breakfast.

But that was it.

I dug into my pocket, and I found a crumpled up ten.

Spend it wisely.

It wasn't going to last long.

So I walked into a coffee shop, that didn't look very expensive.

I ordered a pastry, and a latte.

I was dying for coffee, and something sweet.

Just the aroma alone, had pulled me in.

So I grabbed my order, and sat in the middle of the place.

I sipped my coffee, and scrolled through my phone.

So far no word of me running away.

Either nobody cared, or nobody had even noticed I had actually run away.

I hoped it was the second option.

The latte had reenergized me, and as I stood up, I stuffed the rest of the pastry in my mouth.

It had tasted so good, but all of my money was gone.

So I really needed to get hired at one of the jobs.

But for right now, I would just have to find somewhere to sleep.

I walked out of the cafe, and found a park nearby.

It wasn't too chilly, so I didn't think I needed to wear my leather jacket.

I would use that as a pillow.

I found a bench, set my stuff by me, and put the jacket down on the bench.

I laid my head down, and slowly drifted off to sleep.

At least some of the time, I was at peace.
