Zayn's Pov:

I was feeling refreshed after taking a shower at Gavin's.

Thank god I had found him, because if not I would still be homeless.

I wrapped a towel securely around my waist, and quickly put on my clothes.

I hadn't brought many with me, but it was all I could smuggle at the time.

So I would have to make do.

I put on a thin blue hoodie, and boxers.

There were two rooms, so luckily I had my own room.

Gavin was nice enough for that.

I didn't want Gavin to accidentally see a glimpse of my body, because that would defeat the whole point of running away.

So I had my own space, which looked pretty sparse.

But it was my own space, so I was grateful.

I had just gotten my clothes on, when Gavin decided to barge in announced.

"Hey what's up roommate?," Gavin asks, jokingly punching my arm.

I tried faking a smile, even though that kind of hurt.

"Nothing what's up?," I ask shyly.

I still didn't know how to act around Gavin.

It seemed like he was too good to be true.

Something was off about Gavin, I just couldn't put my finger on it.

But I ignored the red flags, and just went along with it.

"Well I kind of need you work tomorrow," Gavin smiles.

Oh that was all.

I breathed a sigh of relief.

"Okay what time?," I ask, picking at a loose thread in my hoodie.

"Nine I'll teach you everything," Gavin grins, and heads down the hallway.

I was nervous, but excited to work.

My stomach was in knots, and I could barely breath.

You got this Zayn, make it work I tell myself.
