August 23rd || First Period-

Today was a normal day for your first period until you were called to the front office. "Y/n L/n please come to the principal's office." The announcement said to you. Everyone was Ooohing and laughing while you were nervous out of your ass.

You were walking kind of slow to the office, and that's when you saw him. "Y/n I want you to meet our new transfer student Kōtarō Bokuto." Your principal said to you. He was staring at you which made you think he was judging you, but then you got courage to speak. "Hi, Kōtarō. My name is y/n." You say with your hand out. "Hi. You can just call me Bo." He smiled at you and shook your hand. He was tall for a 7th grader you thought. The principal took you to the side to whisper some things. "I want you to befriend him and show him around school since you both have the same schedule." The principal said. "Yes sir." You said while Bokuto still held your hand. You looked back at him and he had a focused stare at you.

You let go and looked away first. "Let's go, Bo." You said leading him. He grabbed his backpack and followed you. Y'all were silent the whole way back to class. He was staring at you as you walked in front of him and he bumped into a pole. You looked back to see him on the ground. He was laughing. "This is embarrassing." He laughed. You tried not to laugh and helped him up. "Are you okay, Bo?" You asked him trying to contain yourself from laughing. "Yeah I'm fine, also it's okay if you laugh." He says and you burst out laughing in tears all the way back.

"Okay, you can stop laughing now." He says with a pout. "I'm sorry." You looked at the mark on his head and laughed again covering your face. You eventually stopped laughing when you guys got back to class. You and him were smiling going into the classroom. Everyone was ooohing again and you got embarrassed. He was blushing. "He's blushing!" Some girls yelled. You went to your desk and he followed.

He sat in a desk next to you. "Bokuto stand up in front of the class and tell us about yourself." Your teacher says. He stood up. Destiny leaned close to you. "Girl, you smiling mad hard." She says. "No I'm not." You whisper and made a straight face. "You like him already?" Destiny asks. "He's cute, but I'd never have a chance with him." You say. "Oh really? He's staring you down as we speak." She says. You looked at him and he blushed.

"My name is Kōtarō Bokuto it's nice to meet you all." He bowed and talked fast and nervously. "I transferred from Ushimi Middle School in Tokyo, Japan. My birthday is September 20th and I guess that's all." He says standing up straight. "Any questions for him?" The teacher asks. A girl rose her hand. "How y'all are you?" She asked. "I'm 177 centimeters, or 5'10." He said standing tall. "Wowww." Everyone said except for the guys. He went to sit back down and all the guys crowded around him.

"You gotta play basketball or something." One of them said. "Actually I play volleyball, but I wanna try out for football." He says with a smile. That was the moment he became popular. When he got on the football team.

You thought you little crush was over, but he hung out with you everyday.

The Next Year || September 13th

You and Bokuto were best friends by then, he was also the most popular guy in school. "I'm gonna throw up." You watched everyone stare at you. "Chill." Destiny told you as you guys walked to your cafeteria table. "Everybody just jealous that Bokuto's giving you all his attention. He like you, for real." Kaden side eyed you with a smirk. "No he doesn't." You doubt yourself. "He does like you, look at how he's staring at you right now." Ava nudged you smirking. "I'm not looking." You drank your apple juice. "You don't have to, he's coming over." Kaden snickered.

Bokuto walked to your table with a smile on his face he was taller than he was last year. "Hey y/n!" He said happily. "What do you want Bokuto?" You looked up at him. "I just wanna talk to you about my birthday next week." He pulled up an empty chair to sit by you. "We already talked about it though." You groaned. "So? Anyways, you're still coming to my house for dinner right?" He asked. "You have to ask my mom." You made up an excuse.
