It was currently the end of the school day for (L/n) (M/n) and he was currently walking towards his locker to keep some of his books away while listening to music from his wireless headphone c̶a̶u̶s̶e̶ y̶o̶u̶ f̶A̶n̶C̶Y̶. He put the combination into his locker and opened his locker when an envelope fell out of his locker. He raised an eyebrow at this and stared at the envelope that fell on the ground for a few minutes before he placed his books in his locker, placed his wireless headphone around his neck and crouched down to pick up the envelope. He stood up, letter in hand, and searched for a sender name but unfortunately for him there wasn't one. He slowly opened the envelope before stopping and looking at the corner of the hallway that led to the volleyball gym. He felt multiple pair of eyes watching him from that corner. He shrugged it off and opened the envelope that contained a folded piece of paper inside. He took out the paper, unfolded it and started reading what was on the paper.

Dear (M/n),
The reason I'm writing this letter is because I have no idea how to approach you in real life without backing out last minute but I just wanted to say that I really like you and think that you're the most amazing and wonderful person I have ever seen in my life. When I have a really bad day and just see you walking by, I feel like my day just got much better by just seeing you. I still have no idea how you go unnoticed by everyone because whenever you walk in the room or whenever you're somewhere I can see, you always manage to catch my eye and brighten my day. I hope you have a good day today and I might send you another letter tomorrow.

After (M/n) finished reading the note, he felt his face heat up slightly and felt touched by whoever sent the letter to him so he carefully placed the note back inside the envelope and placed it inside a safe place in his locker before he closed his locker and started heading home due to the fact that he's currently not in a club and he was slightly excited to receive the next letter but he wasn't getting his hopes too high just incase this was a prank. While he was walking away from his locker, he could still feel the multiple pair of eyes that were watching him.

Day after day after day, (M/n) kept receiving more envelopes that are about various topics like about the sender rambling about his day and how he wished he could just man up and and talk to him without passing out and how devestated he was about loosing to an annoying ex-upperclassmen of his and how he wished that (M/n) would give them hugs, cuddles and kisses, which made (M/n) flustered and assume whoever was sending him these letters was playing sports and probably in his class due for the fact that the sender once wrote about how happy they get when he enters the classroom. Anyways... (M/n) is currently on a mission... Well... Two to be exact.

The first is to find out who this mysterious sender was because he can't really return their feelings without knowing who the f*ck is sending the letters and without going on a date to see how it goes.

The second one is to find out who keeps watching him from the corner of the hallway everytime he's at his locker and reading the letter he receives because the letters are now one of the reason why he isn't faking sick and he has a pretty good idea on who it was.

Why does he think that exactly? Well! It's because when you turn the corner at the end of the hallway it leads to the boy's volleyball gym and he shares a class with one of the players from the volleyball team named Kageyama Tobio. Also ever since he got the first letter he became more self aware about his surroundings and picked up on the fact that Kageyama keeps looking at him for a long period of time but he can't just go and assume that it's him that keeps sending him the letters without concrete proof. Which is why he is taking a different route to his locker this time around, the painfully longer route according to (M/n), and he will be passing the boy's volleyball gym so he will also be able to see who keeps hiding around the corner whenever he goes to his locker which leads to where he is now!

(A/n: Did you understand what I was trying to say because I have no idea what I was trying to type😂😭)

(M/n) quietly walked past the boy's volleyball gym that was suspiciously quiet even though practice is supposed to be going on right now but he continued to quietly walk towards his locker with his eyes fixated on the ground until he heard...

"I can't see anything!"

"Me neither!"

"Maybe it's because you're both too short"

"Shut it Saltyshima! Respect you're senpai!"

"Yeah!"

"Don't talk to Tsuki like that!"

"Shut up Yamaguchi..."

"Sorry Tsuki!"

"Oh.... I can't wait to see his reaction this time!"

"Aren't we invading his privacy? We've been doing this for a few weeks now"

"Oh lighten up Asahi! It's in the name of love!"

"First off, this is Kageyama's love life not ours. Second off, why are we even spying on Kageyama's crush in the first place? We should be practicing!"

"I second that"

"Me too!"

"Same!"

(M/n) slowly looked up and saw the whole boy's volleyball team peering from the corner of the hallway, where his locker was located at making him almost double over in laughter but he held it in and slowly and quietly made his way towards the nosey voleyball team. He stopped a few inches away from them and stayed silent for a few minutes.

"Where is he? He's supposed to be here by now?"

"Maybe he went home early?"

(M/n) took this as a cue to make himself known so he spoke up.

"What's going on here?..." he asked, startling the whole boy's volleyball team.

Some of them fell, some of them jumped back a few feet and one of them passed out causing the nearest one to catch him *cough* Asahi and Daichi *cough* while some of them froze. They all looked at where the voice came from and they saw (M/n) looking at them with a dead panned look on his face. Kageyama's skin turned white and he looked like he was about to descend to heaven.

"Kageyama-kun" (M/n) called out but alas he didn't get a response from him because he was silently praying for the ground to swallow him whole.

"You're the one sending me those letters?" (M/n) asked which earned a very stiff nod from Kageyama while he was mentally preparing to be rejected but instead he was met with a very rare smile from (M/n) which made his heart start beating erratically.

(M/n) giggled slightly at that, almost making Kageyama pass out right there. (M/n) pecked Kageyama's cheek which immediately turned bright red afterwards.

"Pick me up at 5?" (M/n) said indicating he wanted to go on a date to which Kageyama immediately nodded his head.

"Great... See ya then..." (M/n) said giving Kageyama another peck on his cheek before putting his headphone back on and walked towards his locker leaving Kageyama in a daze.

While (M/n) was walking towards his locker, he heard Kageyama's volleyball team cheer for him and saying congratulations to him making (M/n) chuckle slightly. He couldn't wait for Saturday to come.
