When My World Went Cold-Chanmin

"Come on Seungmin, it's time for your first day bub," I heard my mother say as she woke me up, "And if you aren't up in five minutes, I'm pouring ice water on you."

I heard my door close and I shot up from my bed. I knew she wasn't messing around when she said she would pour ice water on me. I yelled down to mom to let her know I was awake and turned on my playlist so I could get ready.

I was dreading today. It was a new school, again. The eighth school in eight years. I went to one school one year and moved when the school year ended. I was always one of the smartest kids because I never knew what the next school would be teaching, so I contsantly studied ahead.

I finished getting ready and headed downstairs to get my bag and head out. I told mom that I would get something when I got to school. I never did, breakfast was never appealing to me.

*Time skip*

I stood infront of the first class. My nerves were going crazy, I stared at the ground as the teacher got students settled down. Once the students were settled the teacher told me to introduce myself. I was terrified though, but when I looked up I saw a pair of beautiful and soft eyes I immediantly calmed down.

"Hello, my name is Kim Seungmin. I'm new here obviously. I'm 17 and I like photography," I introduced myself and pushed up my glasses. I heard someone start laughing and I looked at the floor immediently.

"Why don't you mind your own buisness and find something better to do than laugh at the new kid," I heard a voice say that was not the teacher.

"Why are you sticking up for the nerd anyways? Already fall for the new boy you *insert f slur here cause I don't wanna write it*," the boy who laughed at me said back.

The boy that stood up for me got up abrubtly and the boy next to him tried dragging him back down.

"Chan, don't make a scene, it's the first day," the orange headed boy said.

"Let the *f slur* come here and fight me Felix, he deserves to get his ass kicked."

"Alright that's enough, Chan, Felix, Mark (not from Got7, just a transfer student from the US), I want to see you three at lunch," the teacher yelled at the three, "Seungmin, you can take a seat next to Jeongin. Jeongin please raise your hand."

I saw a blue haired boy raise his hand and wave to me nicely. That's when the boy names Mark said something again, "Don't get too close, he might turn you gay."

I suddenly got a burst of courage and said back, "Can't turn someone gay who is already gay."

Mark's face dropped and the class started laughing at him, even the teacher seemed amused. I took my seat next to Jeongin. The rest of class went smoothly and Jeongin introduced himself and invited me to sit with his table of friends which I agreed to. I probably wouldn't go though, I wouldn't want to intrude.

*Time skip*

I walked down the hall with my earbuds in, it was lunch time and I wasn't hungry yet so I decided to walk the hallways. I was listening to Zombie-English Version by Day6.

"I feel like I became a zombie," I silently sang to myself as I looked ahead. I felt someone was watching me and turned around to meet the boy named Chan from earlier. I paused the song and took our my earbuds.

"Hi, my name is Bang Chan, from your fir-"

"from first period. How could I forget?"

"Sorry about that, Mark can be like that, him and a few of his friends and from the US and are homophobic."

"It's okay, I stayed in the US for a little bit, I can take a few comments."

"Jeongin invited you to lunch, he was wondering where you were."

I rubbed the back of my neck, feeling bad, "Sorry about that, I wasn't hungry and I felt like I would intrude."

"It's okay, you wouldn't have intruded. Since you're not hungry, would you want a tour of the school for the rest of lunch" Chan offered.

"That sounds nice."

Chan shot a text to his friends telling them that he found me and was going to give me a tour. We walked down the hallways and I accidentaly bumped into someone.

"Hey, watch it you *f slur*," Mark said upset.

"You really like saying that word don't you? You know, if you use a word too much, it'll loose it's meaning," I snapped back at him.

I got pushed against the wall by Mark, "watch what you say, you don't wanna get even more on my bad side."

Mark was about to hit me, but was stopped by someone pulling him off of me.

"Stay away from him Mark," I heard Chan say to him. I thought I heard a slight growl in his voice but brushed it off as anger.

"He isn't yours to claim or mate with, I could just go ahead and claim him right now."

"Chan, Mark, my office, now," I heard the principal yell at the two, "And Chan, call Felix so Seungmin can get home safely."

I was confused by what the princpal said, but out of nowhere six boys popped up with concerned faces. I was greeted by a hug from Jeongin and he started introducing everyone as we walked to my house.

We arrived at my house and I didn't get to ask what happened, but Jeongin gave me everyones number so I could contact them. I said goodbye to everyone and went inside and was greeted by my mothers concerned face.

*Time skip*

I was up in my room and I finally felt hungry, I thought I'd sneak down and get something to eat. I quietly opened my door and headed down the first few stairs before I stpped hearing my mothers voice.

"It was a bad idea coming back here, his first day and he's almost claimed and hurt. I'm just glad that the boy was there to stop that from happening."

"It's the safest place right now though," I could recognize the voice as my aunt's on my dad's side.

"I know, he wouldn't think to find us here. But what happens if my baby gets claimed or mated with? Would I be able to see him again? Would the pack or clan allow me to see him?"

I snuck back upstairs, I had lost my appetite. What was my mom talking about? Packs? Clans? That's supernatural stuff. What's with the thing of claiming or mating? My head started to hurt and my phone suddenly went off.

Big Scary Protector:

Open your window and help us up.

I opened my window and sure enough Chan was standing under my window with Felix beside him. I helped up Felix as Chan lifted him up. Once Felix was in he helped up Chan. There was a thud from Chan falling onto the floor and I heard my mom's footsteps and the door opened.

She had a pan above her head, ready to smack someone. She noticed it was Felix and lowered the pan.

"If you wanted in, you could have come through the front door. That's what it's there for."

My mom was about to walk out to the hallway but turned around, "Oh, Seungmin sweetie, there's food in the microwave for you. I know you haven't eaten all day." She turned to Chan and Felix, "make sure he eats, he's bad at not eating throughout the day."

Mom closed the door and walked downstairs to her bedroom. I was very confused about everything that happened today and wanted to lay down, but the two people in my room kept me up.

"If you're going to be here and I can't sleep you might as well answer some questions that I have."
