"Seungmin baby, this is the alpha of the pack and you need to treat him with respect" my mother says to a 2 year old me.

I nodded my head and made grabby hands to the man. The man took me in his arms and smiled at me.

"Sorry, he isn't usually like this. Especially after what happened."

"It's okay, I can understand how he would try to not let anyone hold him. I'm glad that he will let me hold him though, he is adorable."

A different woman walked in and the alpha said something to her. He looked at my mom and she nodded, handing me to the other woman. She took me in another room but I could still hear somehow.

"I came to ask you if it would be alright if we were to leave the pack. It isn't safe for us here and I don't want to put the pack in danger. We would have things settled in America with Seungmin's aunt" I heard mother explain.

"I understand why you want to leave the pack, but, others will smell that you were out of a pack and try to claim you, both of you. I can make this a temporary thing, it will mask the scent of the pack and have that you seem to be human. If you want to come back at any time, you will always be welcome here" the man explained.

I blinked once and the scenery changed. It was my first school I went to. I had been homeschooled and since I was now nine, mom was letting me go to school. I was excited.

It was the end of the day. I remembered this like it was yesterday. Neither my mom or aunt could make it until 5 that evening so I stayed at the park. I was swinging, I checked my watch and saw it was 30 minutes past 5. I was almost old enough to walk home.

I headed off in the direction to my house. It would take a while since we lived in the woods. I reached the slide area since the swings were at the back of the park.

"Where do you think you're going" a voice behind me asked. I turned around and it was the school bully, Anthony.

"I was just walking home" I said in a small voice, looking down at my feet.

"Aww, did your mommy leave you" Anthony teased.

"I bet she got tired of living in the woods Ike an animal, so she left you here" one of his goons, Lucus, joined in.

There were always three of them, so where was the third. I didn't notice until it was too late. Someone had walked behind me and grabbed my arms, holding me in place. The other two started hitting me as I started crying.

They were throwing around insults since I was crying and weak. They started to up and Anthony crouched down to be face to face with me. He looked at me in shock and I didn't know why.

"A monster! He's a monster" Lucus yelled, pointing at me.

I was confused and they started running away. I laid there though and started crying again. A car door slammed shut.

"Seungmin baby!"

It was my mom. She picked me up and brought me to the car. I checked my watch and it said 7 pm.

Before I stared out the rolled down window, I caught a glimpse of my reflection. I could have swore I saw purple eyes, but when I looked back, they were gone.

The moon was high in the sky tonight. It was beautiful. A blood moon. I liked blood moons, they looked really cool, I also liked blue moons. It was like they were opposites. The blood moons were always thick with red and made the sky dark, but blue moons, they brought light. They had a soft glow of blue to them, almost like a silk.

Tonight though, the blood moon had not only a dark intensity to it, it had a soft blue ring around it, almost impossible to see if you don't study it.

I blinked again and the scenery changed. This time it was my most recent school. I was 16. It was a private school. Mom said it would be safe for me here.

Then why did we move again?

It was the last day, I got through the school year yet again. Since it was the last day I thought I would be okay. I was completely wrong.

I was always a good student and got good grades so my English teacher said I could skip this class period. I walked around the school and had to use the bathroom.

I was done with my business and washed my hands. I looked up to see Oliver, Leo, and Oscar. The three boys who tormented me all year long.

I tried pushing past them to go outside, but the door was locked. I was about to unlock it when I was grabbed and thrown against the wall.

Oliver signaled to have Leo and Oscar pull me up. They held my arms as Oliver took his jacket off and rolled up his sleeves.

For some reason, this reminded me of something. It's locked away and I can't reach it though.

I was pulled out of my thoughts as I was punched in the stomach. I coughed at the unexpected hit. I couldn't regain any breath as I was hit again.

Again.

Again.

My ribs hurt and soon Oliver hit me in the face. I felt blood run down my mouth. My nose was bleeding. Another hit and my lip got busted. Another and I felt my eyebrow split.

They dropped me and all three started kicking me.

My back hurt, my ribs, my legs, my arms. Everything felt like it was exploding. Sooner or later they stopped. They left and locked the bathroom.

I couldn't sit up, I couldn't breath, I couldn't speak.

I was going to die here. I coughed once more and blood flew out. My lungs felt like they were on fire.

It had been hours and nobody tried to come in. The last bell of the day rang and another 30 minutes went by.

I was on the verge of passing out. The door finally opened. It was a janitor. He immediately dropped the mop and bucket and called 911.

Cold, that's all I felt was cold. Not relief. Not happiness. Not sadness. Nothing but cold.

I woke up slightly, I was in a hospital. The clock slowly ticked. The doctor told me I arrived here around 5:30. It was now 7.

I almost died. I don't know why I felt a rush of sadness when I realized I was alive. Everyone wanted me dead.

A few weeks in the hospital and I had fully healed. It was the quickest recovery anyone had seen.

We were moving, again. Maybe this time I'll stay safe? I haven't felt the warmth of being safe. Would I feel it again? Probably not.
