When My World Went Cold-Chanmin

Seungmin's pov

I woke up and felt a bandage around my head. Realizing I was in an unfamiliar place, I started panicking. As soon as I was about to get up I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked over and saw Felix was sitting there.

"It's okay, you're safe here."

"Oh. Hey Felix" I waved awkwardly to him.

"Hey. Chan should be here in a minute, I'll go ahead and leave so I can tell the healer you're awake."

Felix got up and left out the door. A few second later I heard a faint knock and then Chan pop his head in. Once he was in full view I saw him sigh in relief it looked like. He walked over to the side of my bed and sit down.

"How are you feeling" he asked me shyly.

"Uhm, that's a good question. I don't really know."

"That's okay, I can underst-" before Chan could finish talking, I notice a red spot on the side of his mouth. I reached up to sip of the bit of coloring. This shocked Chan and he retracted to standing up. I felt disappointed that he did.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable" I tried apologizing.

"Don't be sorry Seungmin, I shouldn't have forgot the small bit of blood there" he said and my eyes widened. As realization hit him on what he said he back up further.

"I'm so sorry, I swear I won't hurt you. I just want to help, I would never try to hurt you" Chan immediately started apologizing and trying to reassure me.

"Chan" I called out softly and he looked up at me. I patted the spot next to me as I scooted over. He hesitantly took the spot next to me and looked down at his hands. His hands were shaking and fiddling with each other. I grabbed his hand in mine which caused him to look at me in shock.

"Chan, what are you" I asked him in a soothing voice. I didn't want to scare him by me asking.

"Uhm, well. It's kind of hard to explain. But, I'm a vampire" he stopped talking and looked back over at me. I could see he wasn't finished so I have him an encouraging look to finish. "And I'm a werewolf. But I won't hurt you at all, and we are currently surrounded by other supernatural creatures like other vampires and werewolves, or sirens and thing like that."

I smiled at his rambling and tried to get his attention. "But like, we won't hurt you. I wouldn't let them try to hurt you. But it's not like they'd try since we are peaceful here and I'm the son of the Alpha and leader." I shook his arm slightly, causing him to shut up.

I chuckled slightly at him as he looked at me. "I get it Chan, nobody will hurt me" I repeated back to him while laughing lightly. It got really quiet after that and I decided to speak up.

"So you drink blood huh" I asked in a joking manner and realized how cringy that sounded.

"I guess I do, although it could just be koolaid in disguise" he joked back.

I look at him and he smiled at me, flashing his vampire teeth, I don't think he noticed though. I smiled back him and held my fingers up, like fangs, where they would be at if I had them. He looked confused and I started laughing.

"It's like looking in a mirror" I joke as I held up my fingers again.

"Oh my god, are my fangs out" he asked me a bit panicked.

"Chan, it's fine. Just because Mark attacked me earlier, doesn't mean I'm afraid of you. You've given me no reason to be scared of you" I assured him.

He relaxes some and nodded at me. When he got settled in next to me again, the door opened to reveal who I'm guessing was the healer and Felix. She did check up on me and Felix was laughing at something. I looked over and saw Chan have a pink tint dusted beautifully across his checks and his nose.

He looked at me and Felix went to go pull up one of the curtains. The sun shown through the window and at this time it hit Chan's face perfectly. The sun lit up his eyes into a golden honey color, the pink across his face added to the beauty, and his lips looked a lot softer in this light(even though they already look soft as hell).

I turned my head as I realized I stared too long at him. The healer said I was fine to go and if I needed somewhere to sleep at, I could sleep here tonight. Felix and Chan walked me out of the room. Once we were downstairs and out of the house I got dizzy and almost fell, but Chan caught me. He kneeled down with his back to me and told me to get on his back for a piggy back ride.

"Wouldn't this be counted as a wolf back ride" I asked him jokingly.

"Technically it would be" Chan replied.

"Ah, nope. Technically it would called a hybrid back ride, but wolf back ride can work" Felix but it and put emphasis on the 'technically'.

They walked and Chan carried me on his back to a bit outdoor building. It didn't have walls but it had a roof, underneath of it, it had a few big tables stretching from end to end.

"This is where all of us eat at, and I hope you'll be joining us tonight. And don't worry, we've already informed your mom on what happened, and we told her that you were in safe hands" I heard Hyunjin say as he walked up to us.

"I mean, I am staying the weekend here, right? I might as well join. But will people be weirded out sitting with a human?"

"Not at all, we have actually more humans than you would think in our pack. We accept anyone that wants to join, really. Our pack is called Stray Kids, anyone who has been cast out or anything like that has a home here" Chan replied to me.

I nodded as Chan helped sit me down where I was going to sit next to him. I was nervous to say the least, everyone started walking and joining us at the tables. I felt my heart start to beat faster as I saw a man that looked similar to Chan start walking towards where we were sitting. I guessed that he was Chan's father and I felt myself start to panic.

Chan noticed I guess and put his hand halfway between my knee and thigh. The touch felt warm and safe, I felt myself calm down and relax. I looked over to Chan, just to see him staring back at me. I felt a type of spark, this is where I belonged, with these people in this pack.
