"The plan was a success."

Guinevere smiles shyly at the ministers as they congratulated her. Her father have a wide smirk on his face after knowing that the bandits never returned after Guinevere's plan.

"I have doubts with your plan but it unfolded in the most hmm— splendid way." The minister of war commented as some nodded with him in agreement.

"I do thought so. Where did you get such inspiration from that plan, princess?"

Guinevere smiles serenely and looked at them head on. This ministers have been underestimating her since day one. She felt kind of renowned after they acknowledged her. She will show them who is the boss in the internal court.

"They usually stole the wagons with food on it so if they happen to use that food for their own benefit then why not use it as their demise too?"

His father's proud booming laugh echoed in the court room. "I never expected such brutal acts from you, princess."

"A life for a life." Guinevere replied back. "What they did to our soldiers is an act of treason towards the country. We should prohibit such actions and teach everyone who is on top. Law is law."

"You're going to be a great Empress one day, your highness."

"I am still not powerful and knowledgeable enough but be assured that I will soon gain more for those attributes." She smiles as they grinned at her in expectation.

The meeting was adjourned as Guinevere sighs and took her exit. It was a tiring day for her so she couldn't help but root for a good nap for now. She sluggishly walks on the hallway- gone was her elegance and poise. Lesley trailed behind her looking slightly worried at how her princess is about to fall asleep in the hallway.

She finally gave in and close her eyes as she leaned herself to her side, bumping to a shoulder- probably Lesley's.

Gusion signalled for Lesley to keep silent as he stopped walking and let Guinevere lean on his shoulder. The red-haired look in disapproval but sighs when she realized she probably couldn't stop this guy no matter what. She also thinks that Princess Crane wouldn't appreciate it if she screams and let her princess' so-called crush rot in the dungeon.

The silver-haired lad carried her bridal style as the princess immediately leaned to his warm chest. Gusion tried to dismiss her as they returned to his wife's chamber but Lesley let his words enter and pass her ears. She would not heed to any commands that isn't from the royal family.

He laid her on the bed as he combed his hair upwards. He looks at Lesley again as if she's a pest to his life. All he wanted is to have an alone time with Guinevere- may she be conscious or unconscious. But alas, the gods above hated him and couldn't atleast answer that one simple prayer.

In the end, he decided to take the matter on his own hands. Fuck the gods, they never listened to him anyway.

"So, in the stables with Granger, huh?"

The reaction was immediate. She snarled at him and if looks could kill, Gusion would have been a dead man a long time ago- even if he is a damn immortal now.

"Shut up, imbecile."

"What? You let him fuck you but now you are avoiding him as if he's a plague. Your lover boy must be crying right now."

"I said enough!" She whispered shouted so Guinevere wouldn't wake up from their noise.

"I will stop the moment you leave this room." Gusion bargained.

"I don't trust you at all, freak."

"Your name-calling is starting to amuse me but does this face looks like it gives a fuck?" Gusion pointed to himself with slitted annoyed eyes. "Leave or else I'll talk about your admirer for hours straight you'll jump from the balcony just to avoid-"
