Sean had waken up after a few hours. His wings, tail and horns gone. Now looking yet again like a regular human.

He didn't know what he was feeling. Stressed? Under pressure? Tired? He didn't know.

Currently, he stood a balcony of the castle. Looking down at the ruins of the town below the castle. It was odd. The house's weren't destroyed...Just over grown...Like the castle. Abandoned. What fully happened? Why were Lily and Jasper the only ones here?

Then something caught his eye. Farther out, past the trees, there was statues. The moon shined onto them

"Sean?" He jumped as turned seeing Lily.

"Lily" He chuckled. "You gave me a fright"

"Forgive me. I didn't think you'd be awake" She spoke.

"It's fine. I woke up and couldn't really sleep" Sean spoke, glancing at Eveline, who was fast asleep in their double bed.

"How are you feeling?" Lily questioned as he looked back outside.

"I'm fine" He replied. "Lily. What are those? Out there?"

Lily looked over at the field where the statues stood. "It isn't important. We'll tell you when your ready"

"Ready? For what? I want to know what happened here! Fully! What happened to the other dragons? My parents?" Sean spoke, anger slightly in his voice.

Lily stayed quiet for a while before she flew out of the balcony and transformed into her dragon form. She gently picked Sean up and placed him on her back.

"I'm going to show you something" She said before she flew off towards the statues. As they got close, Sean realized what they were.

Dragons.

Many different types of dragons. Different shapes. Sizes. Ages...

"Why is their statue's here?" Sean questioned, worried.

"They aren't just statues..." Lily spoke sadly.

Sean walked over to one of a large dragon, protecting two young ones.

"What happened?" He asked her.

Lily looked away from him before answering.

"We did all we could... The council placed the protective field over the town and castle. Your mother and father had just saved the civilians from being captured...They were killed doing so. A beast from the Shadow King's side came and drained all their magic before anyone could make it. They all turned to stone" Lily spoke. "After you were told we were losing, your parents were dead and then this...."

Lily look as if she didn't want to say anything else.

"Lily. Please tell me" Sean spoke to her.

"Aldwin came. He explained to us and the last dragons about the heart. But only you could be transformed into it. Your flame was the only type capable" Lily told him.

"I wasn't told that.."

"No. You weren't. You never were. We wanted you to believe that it wasn't just you that was originally going to be saved. Adlwin told you that he didn't have enough magic. That wasn't the truth.." Lily told him before she looked at him

"Then you took off. You wanted to face the shadow king on your own, wanting revenge but you were young. Not yet strong enough. He managed to take you down. You told Aldwin to seal you away. He saved your life and you saved us" She explained

He was quiet. Taking it in before crouching down and looking at the small child dragon

"How do we break them out?" Sean questioned.
