The Dragon Court

Sean found himself as a child yet again. He was outside in the castle's courtyard along side his mum and dad.

He hid behind his mum in his human form, gripping onto her dress. He was obviously a shy child. Sam floating next to him

Four other people walked towards them. Three men and a woman. They all look noble.

As they got closer they gave a bow to them.

"We welcome you. There is much to discuss. Please come with me." His dad spoke, gesturing inside.

"And what of our sons?" The woman asked.

"I'll watch them" His mother smiled at them.

"Are you sure, Ma'am? When we're gone, they can be quite wild" One of the men laughed.

"I'm sure I'll be fine. I have a son of my own and it will be good for Sean to have some friends" His mother smiled before looking at him.

The court nodded and three of them headed inside with the king. One of the men stayed and turned to face a group of boys about Sean's age.

"You will be good for the queen and prince. Nothing harmful. Hear me?" The man spoke. The four boys nodded.

The man then turned and headed inside.

Sean's mum crouched down by him and smiled. "Why don't you go play?"

"Play?" Sean mumbled.

"Yeah. Go have fun" His mum smiled. Sean grinned before running to the other boys.

He began playing with them for hours. Many games obviously originated from dragons.

He pounced on a boy with orange wings before looking at his mum, who was smiling softly at him having fun.

His little green wings flapped happily at her.

"Hey! Your wings flap when your happy!" One boy with Blue wings grinned.

Sean froze and looked at him. "N..No they don't..."

"Hey! Sean!" He looked a boy with golden wings as one with silver ones walked to him "Since your the prince, will you be king one day?"

"Sean?" Sean felt himself wake up to find Lily shaking him. He had tears staining his face. "Are you alright?"

"Im...Ok. I...Its just a lot to take in..." He said. "My memories are slowly coming back...Some are just upseting to remember. Plus, being told I'm royalty...Its...Difficult to accept"

"That's completely understandable... If you need sometime, Sean" Lily replied.

"No...I'll be ok" Sean replied sitting up and showing Sam in his arms.

"Is that?" Lily gasped.

"Yeah... They managed to find me" Sean chuckled.

"That's amazing. When you were sealed away, Sam vanished. We couldn't find them anywhere so we just assumed they went back to their own kind...I guess they went looking for you." Lily spoke softly.

Sean looked down sadly. "I abandoned all of you..."

"No. You didn't" Lily said. "Sean. A royal dragons magic is ten times more powerful than a regular dragon. The Shadow king tried to take your magic. You being stealed away saved us and your life. You didn't abandoned us. Your here now and we'll figure this out"

Sean gave a nod.

"We're going to have guests soon. There trained to be a dragon court for when you begin ruling. They want to meet you but not just because of that" Lily smiled. "They were your friends before you were sealed. They missed you and wanted to see you again. I hoped they might rejog a few memories too"

Sean gave a small smile before she helped him up.

She helped Sean tidy up a bit. She helped clean up his face and help brush his hair back a bit, tying it back up behind him.

She gave him a fresh change of clothing. It was more regal attire but was similar to that he was wearing. A green tunic with brown leather trousers and boots

The tunic though had holes in the back. Lily walked to him and gave him a brown jacket.

"Sorry. All we have is clothing for human forms. There wing holes" She told him as she folded his clothing.

"Its alright" Sean gave a soft smile "I'll get used to it"

Lily returned the smile. "I think these boys will cheer you up"

She lead Sean to the throne room. Sam floating next to him

As he stood in the corridor, his face grew into that of confusion.

"Wait. So your telling me he doesn't remember at all?"

Was that an Irish accent?

"That's what he just said, Dan"

Another!?

Sean walked in and saw four males with Jasper. One had orange wings, one had blue. One had a golden colour and the last one had sliver

These were the boys in his memory.

Lily gave a bow to them before gesturing to Sean, who stood there awkwardly.

"Jack?" The male with Silver wings spoke as he noticed him. The others turned to look at him. Sean feeling more awkward.

Jack? Why did he call him Jack? A nickname?

The male with orange wings flew over and landed in front of Sean, making him jump. Sam jumping too in fright and curling around his neck

"Kevin!" One of the male yelled in slight shock.

Sean looked at the male in front of him. Kevin?

"It is you" He spoke. It seemed all these guys were also Irish.

Another on of the males flew to them. "How can you tell?" The golden winged male asked

The last two joined them, not realising how uncomfortable Sean looked.

"The green scales. They're just as vibrant as Sean's was" Kevin said, pointing to the scales under Sean's eyes. "Plus Sam is a dead giveaway"

Sean gave a slight blush and covered his face.

"Hey, Jack. Where's your wings and tail?" The one with silver wings asked.

Lily then stepped in between the males and Sean. "I'm aware you mean no harm but please don't crowd round him. It's been a long few days for him. He doesn't have many memories and can't control his magic just yet. I asked you all here to be friendly and help him feel relaxed and welcome"

Lily gave a small bow to the court dragons.

"200 years sealed away....I'm sorry. We didn't even think. We just got too excited" The male with blue wings spoke.

"But we can all hang around like we used to. To make you feel at home again" The silver winged smiled.

The blue winged male walked to Sean and helt out his hand. "If we're going to help your memory, i guess its best we introduce ourselves. My name's Daniel, Dan for short"

Sean gave a smile and shook his hand. "It's nice to meet you......again??"

The others walked to him.

"I'm Kevin" The orange winged male smiled.

"Brian" The Golden wing one introduced

"And I'm Daithi" The silver wingged male spoke.

"You already know my name but....I'm Sean" Sean smiled back
