The next few days had proceeded as it followed.

Attacks.

Rebounds.

Fights.

Someone won.

Repeat.

Oh and of course.

The list that Jennie procured? All of them had immediately abandoned enmity and shifted to Sakra when they heard of the strong ally connections, and now, Sakra was stronger than ever.

We definitely can't forget the interactions between Jennie and Taehyung, because no matter how obvious they made it that they were nervous when they were alone, when they were with the group they hid it impressively well.

But it still does not stop the fact that the two used to always choke up near each other, and Jennie used to try and avoid the situations as much as possible.

Currently, they were in the meeting room right now, discussing their next course of action.

"So we discovered potential spots where there could be certain activities of Enmity. And so, we decided to go out in pairs. Julie and Hobi, take location 1, Jimin and Jungkook, location 2. And Taehyung and Jennie, location 3. The rest of us will coordinate from here and give you directions just in case one of you guys are in the right place. Sounds good?" Someone asked as everyone nodded, and Jennie furrowed her eyebrows.

"Wait, why are me and Taehyung going to the 'couple festival'?" Jennie asked confused as Namjoon shrugged his eyebrows.

"It makes the most sense. If it is there, they would suspect it lease if you two act like you're going to the festival. They don't know your face anyways, they'll think you're a random couple and leave it. No one will believe Julie and Hobi are a couple, it's too suspicious. And Jimin and Jungkook? They can't act gay now can they? Especially when they're miserable at a thing and with the South Korean taboo, we need to blend in." Namjoon reasoned out as she hesitantly nodded.

"All right, well we ermm, better get a move on" she said pointing to her watch as Jin nodded.

"I'll see you all later. Keep your eyes peeled, don't miss anything" Suga instructed them carefully as they nodded and Jimin gave a playful finger salute, before everyone dispersed.

Both Taehyung and Jennie chose to Walk to their location seeing as it was nearby.

"Well, we can't look like we're looking around. You know? Keep it lowkey" she told him as they were walking out and he agreed.

"Yeah, obviously not. And we have to get rid of in ear. They could probably see" Taehyung mentioned as Jennie nodded in agreement.

"This is going to be awkward." He said as they approached the flashy lights and festival.

"Yeah. It's been a while since we hung out huh" Jennie said as she put the Samsung bud in her ear, handing the other to Taehyung as the call went through to Suga.

"All right, update?" They heard Namjoon's voice, and now it seemed as if he were the boss more than Taehyung but they didn't care that much.

"Nothing at all here. Just a bunch of couples... kissing" Jennie said saying the last part after a pause as she remembered the events of a few nights ago.

"All right, mute yourselves until I speak, I can't stand that noise" Suga groaned on the other line as Jennie muted the call.

"Well, wanna get a drink? Non alcoholic of course, we're working" he said offering his hand with a smile, trying to signal that they should loosen up.

Jennie hesitated at first, but then took his hand with a smile as they over to the beverage table, grabbing a drink and looking for a place to stand.

"You guys are free. The activity was at Jungkook and Jimin's spot. Stay there just in case though" Suga's voice echoed as they looked at each other and shrugged.

"It's too loud here, let's go somewhere quieter" Taehyung whispered to her as he took a hold of her free hand, leading her to the back of the neighbouring building, where there was no one else but them.

"This is much better"'Jennie sighed as she turned around facing him, who was leaning against the wall drinking the glass of Pepsi Black.

"Yeah, I don't like too much noise sometimes" he said as she nodded.

"Me neither. Gives me chills" she said imitating the feeling as he let out a chuckle.

"You know, I think they just set this up for us to hang out?" Taehyung said thinking about it as she raised an eyebrow.

"Why do you say that?"she curiously asked as she finished her own drink and tossed it into the trash can perfectly.

"Well, who would do anything at a couples festival. And come on, a couples festival" he said as she did find it kind of weird.

"Well are you annoyed by them?" Jennie asked looking to meet his eyes as he met hers in response.

"Nope, we haven't had a lot of time to hang out. I think it's nice" he said as she nodded.

"Yeah, we have been kinda awkward, ever since what happened" she said as the tone shifted and he sighed.

"Hmm, the infamous alley" he chuckled as he remembered it, and by this moment finished his own drink, choosing to throw it later he carefully placed it on the floor.

A brief silence passed the two, as they didn't know what to say, and Taehyung started thinking if he should let he next few words slip through his mouth.

Because honestly?

The feeling of not having her was eating at him by this point.

And he needed to know about what she felt, so that he could be certain if he needed to move on....

Or if he in fact had a chance.

"Did you feel nothing for me after that? Did you feel nothing other than the fact that it was a fake kiss to escape?" He asked after a moment of gaining the confidence to do so, as he stared right at her, who was now unconsciously a lot closer than before.

Jennie took a deep breath before looking up at him.

"It wasn't fake for me"
