Karl's POV:
Me and Y/N have been dating for one year. Our lives are pretty chaotic so, there isn't much tine to do anything fun anymore.

So I decided to surprise them to a picnic date. I have been planning this for a while so, I'm so excited to surprise them.

Outside was a perfect sunny summer day, amazing weather for a picnic.

I was at home waiting for Y/N to come hang out at my house as they usually do.

After a while they finally arrived.

I was trying to act as natural as I can.

"Hey love" they said while coming inside.

"Hellooo" I said while I was going to hug them.

Y/N smiled and hugged me tight.

"So what are the plans for today?" they asked when our hug broke.

"Well, I was thinking we could go somewhere "
I said with a nervous tone.

"Yeah where?" they asked.

"Its a surprise" I said giggling.

"Do I have to where something formal?" they asked.

"No it's gonna be just us" I replied.

"When are going?" they questioned me.

"Now will be a perfect time, but we could go later if you are feeling tired"

"No am good, we can go now" they said.

"Alright lets go" I said.

———time skip———

We were driving towards the park and playing music the best thing in the entire world.

Y/N was so confused where we were going, they looked nervous but that changed when one of our songs came on (you can choose one). We looked at each other and started to sing the lyrics as loud as we could.

That seemed to calm them down.

After few minutes we arrived at the park.

Y/N was confused but surprised at the same time.

"Why are we here?" they asked.

I took their hand into mine while holding eye contact and I said "I was thinking we could have a picnic since the weather is nice"

Y/N was amazed with my answer like they didn't expected it at all.

"Wow is Karl becoming romantic all of the sudden this is new" they said while laughing.

"Wasn't I always romantic?" I said with sarcasm.

"No, I knew you always were" they said while kissing me.

The sun was so beautiful it highlighted every freckle on Y/N's face, they looked amazing.

We settled our stuff on the grass and we started eating our food that I prepared from home.

We were talking about our day and all of the sudden I noticed they placed their head on my shoulder.

We were laying there on the grass with them in my arms, it was so peaceful, hearing the birds the wind and everything else around us.

It made me feel safe being with Y/N, they are the best thing that ever happened to me.

They understand everything, they are there for me I couldn't have asked for a better partner.

Y/N saw me that I was thinking something they didn't asked what they just kissed me and hugged me tightly.

This day was amazing.
