Chloe had been avoiding Patrick. Chloe knew that he had done to her. How he had beat her and hurt her. And it scared her.
Chloe knew that he wasn't the man that she thought. That he wasn't the man that she loved. Chloe knew that she had to find a way to deal with that.
Chloe knew that she wanted to move on from what he had done and be a good mum to Evie.
Chloe looked to her phone and sighed. She saw all the missed calls and messages off of Patrick and sighed. Chloe knew how things scared her.
Chloe looked to see Evie as she walked into the room and smiled. "Hi princess, let's go and do something today. What do you say?" Chloe asked.
Evie looked to her. "No. I stay with you. With nuggets and watch frozen," Evie said.
"Are you sure?"
"I sure," Evie said.
Chloe looked to her and smiled. "Well if that's what you want to do we can do it. It will be okay," Chloe said.
Chloe knew that part of her was glad. The last thing that she wanted to do was to go out. She she knew that it was likely that she would see Patrick

Chloe answered the door to the flat and looked to see that it was Josie and smiled. "I'm glad it's you," Chloe said.
Josie walked in and looked to her. "Please tell me that you aren't hiding in here because of him? Chloe this is mad. He is a monster and you can't coward away because of it," Josie said.
Chloe sighed. "I know. I am acting like an idiot. But I am scared to go out there. And I am scared to come face to face with him again. He hurt me more than I realised he was capable of. And it made me realise. I know that I am hiding away. But I can't go back to him and what if he does hurt Evie too? It just sucks," Chloe said.
Josie smiled. "I know it's hard but come out with me we will go for coffee. If he tries to talk to you, I'll kill him literally if you want. You're my best friend. And I won't let my father scare you away because he is a bully," Josie said.
Chloe looked to her and smiled. "Okay fine. If I regret it then it's your fault," Chloe told her.
Josie looked to her and rolled her eyes. "Fine. But you will be thanking me. Trust me," Chloe said.

Chloe sat in the cafe with Evie and Josie. Chloe looked to see Patrick as he walked in. She felt her heart stop. She looked to him as they held a look.
Chloe knew that she didn't know what she was going to do when it came to her and Patrick. But she knew how terrified that she was of him.
Chloe knew that she needed to try and find a way to get away from him for good. But would Chloe actually run?
