**JOSLYN P.O.V**

"This is ridiculous Hermione" i said annoyed she just smirked "you'll find out soon enough" I rolled my eyes and walked to the Gryffindor table, I took a seat while Hermione sat across from me. "well it's not fair since you know who I'm going with" i noted and it was her turn to roll her eyes "well you have a boyfriend, EVERYONE knows who your going with"

"Well not everyone knows who your going with" I popped back and she glared at me making me shut up "fine" i grumbled.

Ginny came and sat next to Mione "Merry Christmas guys" she chirped and i grinned "Merry Christmas Ginny"

The doors opened again and Harry and Ron walked in laughing their butts off.

They made their way to the table Harry sitting next to me and Ron next to Hermione. "what are you too cackling about?" I laughed and Harry laughed even harder i patted his back biting into my toast. "are you all excited for the ball?" Ginny asked with this big ole smile I nodded eagerly and I thought hermiones head was gonna fall off "im mostly excited to see who Mione is going with" I giggled. i casually glanced at Harry to see his mouth hanging open "well im glad your excited to so me in a suit and dance with me" he said sarcasticly. "oh you know I'm excited for that to" I said biting my lip so I don't smile and reveal just how excited I was.

Harry smirked making a cocky hand gesture making me smack his arm "Don't flatter yourself Potter, they are called dress robes not suits and I picked them out" I said and he rolled his eyes making me giggle. "are you excited Ron?" I asked and he shrugged "I bet Ginny is real excited, heard you were going with Neville?" Harry said spooning yogurt in his mouth she smiled "yes! I'm thrilled! Mum is coming down to help us girls get ready!" Ron head perked up "mum is coming" "well of course she is" Hermione snapped at Ron.

Did I forget to mention that they were on bad terms...again?

"Speaking of the ball it's time that we start getting ready" i announced standing up with the girls "already? It's only 10 in the morning" Harry said with furrowed eyebrows "well we must hurry then" I giggled he chuckled and I kissed his cheek then left with the girls.

"I'm so excited!" I said as we jogged up the stairs "I know!" Ginny squealed.

We ran to the common room saying the password then up to the dorm.

"Mum!" Ginny shouted running and hugging her Molly hugged her back then I went and gave her a hug "oh hello love, my! How much you've grown!" She gushed and I smiled giving her a big hug "oh Hermione Hun come give me a hug" she waved her over and Hermione gave her a hug "hi mrs. Weasley!"

"Now let's get you girls all dolled up!" She gushed.

"Finally" Ginny huffed I smiled anxious to see myself in the mirror, since my hair is naturally curly they had to straighten it (which took a lot of work and patience) im surprised it took so long since they aren't tight curls but oh well, so they straightened it then curled it then put it up in an elegant bun while Hermione and Ginny did my make-up. the other girls were all ready.

I looked in the mirror and my jaw almost dropped.

My make up was a light brown smokey eye with winged eyeliner and pink lipstick and I felt,for the first time in a long time, beautiful.

I turned around and tackled Hermione in a hug "thank you so much" she hugged me back then i hugged ginny.

"You girls..." Molly trailed looking at all of us "im gonna have to lock you all up to keep them boys away, you all just look so stunning!" She said tearing up and I smiled hugging her.
