the idiotic rescue plan

**Joslyn P.O.V**

it's been two weeks and I have been searching non-stop for something on this Tom Riddle dude.

I was sitting at the library by myself reading a defence the dark arts book looking for any clues on who this guy is, I bet he did this to mionie.

ginny has been acting really weird lately. all she does is write in that diary of her then she goes all space eyed and walks away like some robot. I have tried following her but she just like disappears, it's freaky.

speaking of which ginny was here now talking to Neville at one of the book cases.

I stood up and walked over to her. "hey gin!" she spun around and smiled

"hi josy!" i hugged her tight. "I have missed you so much ginny! wanna go out to the black lake?" she nodded happily "I'll talk to you later neville!" he nodded waving at us.

we skipped out to the black lake then sat down on the edge of the water.

"I really wanna spend sometime with you jos, we never hang out."

"me too, I have just been trying to figure out some things" i shrugged, she nodded.

"there is to much stuff going on wanna go swimming?" she nodded eagerly and i swished my wand and we both magically changed into bathing suits. hers was a pink bakini with purple polka-dots while mine was blue with white stripes.

"on the count of three we jump alright?" i nodded at my little sister taking her hand, we walked up to the edge of the dock. we were in a secret hiding place the gang and I found, it had a dock and a picnic table and everything

in a near by tree there were initials

then there was a carved heart with

JP & LE

inside of it, someone crossed it out though.

I've been wondering what the initials stood for.

I turned back towards the water with ginny

"one...." i started

"two...." she continued

we both smiled at each other and started running

"three!" we yelled just as we hit the water.

we both went into the cold water, I opened my eyes underwater and even though it was blurry it was very pretty and colorful.

if we get caught we are in so much trouble.

we played around and splashed eachother untill it got dark out side. "we should probally go inside ginny" she nodded and i changed us back into our robes with my wand. "I had fun with you ginny" i said, she didn't respond and i looked over at her to see her reading that damn book!

"what's so great about that diary anyway?!" she didn't respond but her eyes glazed over and she shoved me to the ground "Stay out of my way foolish girl!" she growled at me.

to say I was stunned would be out of the question, I was confused.

she glared at me then started walking up to the school.

what the hell?

I waited a couple minutes then decided to get up and follow her, I dusted myself off then jogged up to the entrance of the steps, it was about 11 at night and everyone was asleep.
