''There are so many people out today'' Joey said pointing too the crowd of people by the water Shane agreed and smiled ''We should say talk too them'' Joey gave Shane a ''are you serious?'' He asked laughing again, Joey just kept staring at him '' Fine okay'' Shane said setting down in the hot sand it was warm against his body the sky was a light bright blue color with only a few clouds daring too pass by, Shane sat there Joey sat beside him thinking Joey felt so insecure around other people he didn't feel good enough Shane loved meeting new people so did Joey but he was more afraid of what they would think because he was always told he was the ''Freak'' of the crowd it hurt but words are not supposed too hurt right? While Shane was talking about things on top of things Joey was thinking and looking at all the guys around him they was all so skinny and they looked perfect and no Joey did not like these guys but he looked because maybe Shane was they was a lot more fit then Joey they had everything Joey didn't have Joey always seen himself as a gross person but he never acted on it and when he would try he would fail he use too be so hurt with himself he couldn't function at all Shane asked him a question when he snapped back into reality which he probably needed out of his head too feel safe ''If you could be a vampire or wolf what would you be?'' Joey said kissing Shane on the cheek a few people walking by gave them a stare if looks would kill they would have been dead but neither boys cared, ''Can we go home?'' Shane asked dusting the sand off his shorts Joey nodded and they started walking too the house since the beach was right near there house a few minutes passed the boys walked in silence until Shane broke it Shane usually broke the silence between the two of them but he didn't mind Joey didnt have too say much for Shane too get him and he wasn't being rude when he didn't speak he was just being Joey '' Are you having fun?'' The older boy asked looking at Joey '' I have had so much fun!'' Joey said squeezing Shanes hand the older boy smiled feeling successful because thats what he wanted too do was make sure Joey was having fun he knew he had too get away from that hell he called home Shane would always be there even if the younger boy didnt want him too be ''Im glad you are having fun'' Shane said letting go of Joeys hand too unlock the door they had just reached the house ''Oh my god!'' Joey screamed running too jump on the couch Shane looked concerned ''What?!?'' Shane asked looking around for a mouse too come crawling out of nowhere Shane ran over too the couch with a laughing Joey ''What are you laughing at?'' Shane asked the younger boy ''You'' Joey said looking at the older boy amused ''Why me?'' Shane asked Joey started laughing even harder ''Because nothing is wrong the floor was cold on my feet'' Joey said still laughing, Shane facepalmed and Joey only laughed harder at Shanes reaction Shane made the younger boy look at him and kissed him on the nose Joey giggled and put his head in the crease of his neck too where Shane could feel the younger boys breath , the older boy smiled and played with the boys hair until they fell asleep on the couch.

''Ouch'' Joey thought getting off the floor Shane must have kicked him off the couch should have known that boy doesn't like too share Joey went up to take a shower maybe that would wake him up a little more because Shane is going too want too spend time together when he wakes up the boy got in the shower and let the warm water hit his skin until the water turned completely ice cold but he wasn't caring just standing and thinking ''he will never care'' a voice said it frightened Joey but no one was there he was confused was he going crazy? Joey answered it not knowing what too expect ''Who?'' He asked '' Just because your SPED doesn't mean you have too act like it . Shane you dumbass'' The voice said slightly screaming ''You dont know how he feels!'' Joey screamed a little louder until he heard a voice outside the door and knocking ''are you okay?'' Shane asked. ''yeah'' Joey replied in reality know he wasnt he was talking too himself he was fighting with himself he was going insane he could feel it ''Okay well I will be making dinner'' Shane said then Joey heard Shanes footsteps fade into the distance just then he realized how cold the water actually was and hurried and got out, Joey put on some shorts and just went ahead and left his shorts off he was satisfied until he turned in too the mirror too see what he looked like the young boy was disgusting himself out way too much he felt so uncomfortable in his own skin all he could think is ew why, ''Yeah I know you are so gross I wasnt going too say anything but since you did go kill yourself already...loser'' '' Don't say that!'' Joey said screaming back at the voice inside his head but the voice kept repeating himself he will never be comfortable in his own skin now he was doubled the problem himself and the mysterious voice in his head telling him too end it all he didn't feel like being near people but he wanted too see Shane so he went downstairs.

''Ladadadadad'' Shane sang out loud setting the table he had made chicken and a pasta salad he was quite happy with his work just as he got the table set he seen Joey walk down the boys hair was wet he was shirtless with some water still on his skin he looked distracted hes probably still tired Shane thought too himself ''Well hello there'' Shane said meeting Joey halfway too the kitchen pulling him in for a kiss after Shane kissed the boy Joey smiled ''Well hello'' Joey said his cheeks was flushed Shane noticed and smiled ''Ready for dinner?'' Shane asked leading the younger boy too the table Joey nodded although he had already lost his appitite. Once they reached the table Shane pulled out Joeys chair so he could get in ''This isn't a romantic movie'' Joey said laughing at the boys gestures ''Yeah but I want too treat you like you are in one'' Shane said eating a bite of chicken Joey could feel his cheeks heat up and his frown was lifted up into a smile ''As you wish'' Joey said he wasn't going too say he couldn't Joey was never really a romantic person but he wasn't going too complain in fact he had his moments where he could be the sweetest person '' Mmm the food is great'' Joey said smiling looking at Shane twirling the pasta on too his fork ''Thanks Graceffa'' Shane said bowing down Joey laughed after they finished eating they went upstairs they was both stuffed they even said they wouldnt eat again for a year even know they knew they would be hungry again in about 20 minutes.

Shane layed on the bed waiting for Joey it was cooler tonight the stars was out you could see them shining through the window, the lights in the house was already out the only light in the room was the stars and the moon Shane heard small mumbling coming from the bathroom figured Joey was talking too someone maybe one of his other friends, a few minutes Joey came out of the bathroom he was aggravated Shane noticed ''Whats wron?'' Shane asked the younger boy calmly not wanting too make him even more mad ''Oh just my mom being a bitch'' Joey said looking down in reality the voice was back telling him too do awful things he hated it the voice would say stuff like ''Faggot' ''Gross'' ''he will never care'' ''You are such a freak'' ''You are so fat'' ''Kill yourself'' The voice was mean too the young boy he hated it and it hurt he just brushed it off ''Im sorry, does she know you snuck out here?'' Shane asked kind of scare ''Nah'' Joey said Shane smiled in relief ''Can we sleep now?'' Joey asked laying down next too Shane putting his head on Shanes chest ''Sure'' Shane said kissing the top of Joeys head ''I love you'' Joey said ''I love you too goodnight'' Joey smiled and focused on Shanes heart beat 1..2...3 stop...1..2...3 stop that pattern carried on Joey finally calmed down and fell asleep.
