I can definitely see this ship working. Sure they just interacted to each other only a few times (mostly at the movie "Journey Beyond Sodor"), but despite having some bumps here and there when they first met, they ended up getting along and so they became good friends. Not to mention Frankie and Thomas have lots in common, like being both hardworking, and being the "leaders". They have a nice chemistry and they're a very underrated duo imo.
Do I ship them? Nope, but I'd like to read some fanfic between them. Their friendship is just interesting ngl.
