My opinions on TTTE ships (FINISHED!)

Ah yes, I remember the old times of Thomas and Friends. Back when Henry and Edward were still on the Steam Team and weren't reduced to cameo characters. Good times. No wonder almost everyone in the TTTE Fandom cherishes them it in some way, shape or form.
But in all seriousness though, I'm not a huge fan of this ship. I mean, yes Edward was and is an amazing friend to Henry, and Henry, despite appearing rude and disdainful at the start, did show some admiration towards Edward overtime. But I've gotta say that the idea of them being romantic is pretty dull and flavourless. They seem to be that kind of couple trope that wouldn't get into any conflict in order to keep the relationship from being boring. It would be just lovey-dovey stuff here and there. Without any build-up whatsoever. And to be fully honest, I don't get the hype it gets. What's so exquisite about the ship anyway? I do respect the shippers of it though but the idea of them being a couple is just something I'll never wrap my head around on.

Do I ship them? Platonically, yes. Romantically, a big and easy no.
