"Scor! Scorbunny, Scor!"

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!

I'm in... Heaven.

My heart melted completely as my little scorbunny which I named Embry is eating his curry with so much joy. Yes! I cooked it well! Thank you, God! Or Goddess! For letting me have the Pokémon Summoner Skill!

Or at least that's what I think I have. I have no idea what skill I have. I've already shouted [status] several times, but that wasn't working. Instead, what I have is a rotom that was inside my backpack, and alongside a scorbunny.

So, anyway, it's been 3 days since I landed in this world with no explanation whatsoever. I can't even remember if I died or not in my previous life. I probably did, but everything is a blank. Last, I remember as my final moments is working in amazon, packing up Pokémon trading card games, because damn they suddenly got so popular out of nowhere. Pandemic probably.

Then, I was chased by goblins, and I used scorbunny to get rid of them. Thankfully, I knew its basic moves like right off the top of my head. Since scorbunny is very popular and I also watched the Pokémon Netflix series, I asked him to do double-kick and quick attack. He knew those moves and he only needed double-kick to end the goblin.

The goblin was also engulfed in white and the particles all went straight to scorbunny—I mean Embry.

Then, the two other goblins came back and they tried attacking us. I picked up the spear again to join the fight alongside Embry, and we easily annihilated the goblins. Not bad for ten-year-old me.

I think it's because we killed all those goblins that Embry is now level 3, according to my Rotom phone.

No wonder Scorbunny is so popular. I mean, in Pokémon Sword and Shield, I picked him the moment he came out of the pokéball. It wasn't until later that I listened and read about the complains over Sobble's treatment. Poor thing. If I had one, I would baby it often. Still though, I don't regret picking Scorbunny. I really like how naughty the little thing is, and his naughtiness make him so cute.

Oh right. Yes. I found a rotom phone in my backpack. Not only that, but it seemed to be a bag of holding pack because holy shit, I was able to pull out a Pokémon style tent, a giant pot for cooking, logwood, and ingredients for curry cooking.

Haha... it's like I'm in Pokémon Sword and Shield, but instead of camping it out in the Galar region, I'm here in Faerûn, getting to Baldur's Gate.

Actually, I don't even know where I am. All I know is that I'm glad that I have Scorbunny to keep me company. It's so strange, because it really feels like I could understand him.

Anyways, my rotom phone have so many functions. It was like using a Samsung phone, but without all the useless, annoying, contracted apps. Instead, there were only a few apps available for me to see: (1) pokédex, (2) inventory, and (3) Poké-Hatch.

Pokédex is very self-explanatory. It has every Pokémon that has ever existed in the database, along with its explanation and summary, but they're all greyed out except for one, which is my scorbunny. Pretty handy. It's like I completed my pokédex, but without catching all of them. Then, Inventory was also obvious. It kept track of all the items that's inside my backpack, and strangely enough, its all the items that I have when playing Pokémon Shield. It's how Embry and I were able to survive eating curry every day. The only thing weird is that all the berries and the curry ingredients I have are at x 999 of quantities. Like, I have 999 sausages that will never go bad.

Lastly, the strangest app of all: Poké-Hatch. It was like a Gacha app without any consequences. I can summon any Pokémon egg and try to hatch it. However, I can only carry one egg at a time, so the Poké-Hatch app becomes greyed out. It becomes unavailable for me to use until I hatch the current egg with me.

Second, I don't know what Pokémon egg it is, so it could be anything from a wobuffet to a zapdos. Looking at the rules of the app, which is just a few bullet list points, everything is definitely up to chance, and I can potentially get the same Pokémon, which is about 1 in a thousand.

Still, I didn't mind. I don't care what kind of Pokémon I'll get. I'm gonna have fun with it, and watch it and Embry play together! Awwwh! I always enjoyed the game when we're camping! It's so much fun to watch them interact!

I hope I get a bounsweet or a steenee. In my save game, I had Tsareena and Cinderace always interacting with each other as if they were lovers! Awwwh! It's not possible, but it's just so cute!

"Scor!! Scorbunny!" Embry called out and he showed me his empty plate.

My heart melted again at the cuteness.

"Awe! Did you want seconds?"

"Scor! Scor-scor!" He shouted with glee, hopping at my words.

I happily gave him second helpings.

Haa... Camping with my Pokémon is so...soul-healing...

The very next day, Embry and I encountered more goblins as we were trying to get out of the forest. I picked a random direction, by the way, and just kept going until I would find signs of civilization.

There were six more goblins this time, and I took up the spear that I kept from the first battle. He and I doubled-teamed and got rid of the goblins. They also disappeared, and their light particles went straight to Embry, and to the Pokémon egg that I was carrying in my backpack, which by the way, I can actually feel its weight.

To my delight, it started to glow.

Oh my god!

Quickly, I put down my backpack, gently settling it down on the ground and opened the flap.

"Scor! Scorbunny!" It seemed like Embry was just as excited as I was to have another companion in our team.

White light engulfed the egg then it started to take shape of a lovable Pokémon that I would have never thought to have... My heart wrenched in blissful happiness as this was a Pokémon that I never thought I'll get in Pokémon shield, but... Here she was.

Fur white as snow, and eyes blue as the sky...

"Vulpix!"

An Alolan vulpix has hatched from its egg.

I couldn't stop grinning as a few tears fell from my eyes. "Hi, welcome to the team! ...Alice!"

She tilted its head at me. "Vul?"

"Alice is your name," I said as I reached out to pet her luscious curls. "It's very nice to meet you."

She beamed at me happily. "Vulpix! Vul!"

If I die today---no.  Please don't let me die any time soon.  I want to keep camping and cooking curry with my Pokémon.
