I made enough curry for all of them eat. Of course, I had to serve my Pokémon first before serving them, but they didn't mind waiting for a few minutes. Instead, they were happily golfing down the warm, delicious meal. Only the cape-guy seemed very dignified, but he still ate with gusto, just more posh-like.
And it seemed like I was right on the money.
The leader of this group was a Duke. Duke William Crescente who came to investigate sudden rise of monsters near the borders of his estate. Apparently, his province included the Dreaded Woodlands, so he's always busy protecting the area. His close aide is Ramon who was enraptured by three Pokémon that were eating with gusto.
I had to spoon feed Keiko though when I saw she was getting messy everywhere.
Awe... my little happy girl...
"Are you a tamer?" Ramon asked me.
"No, I'm a Pokémon trainer," I said.
"And... what exactly is that?"
"I train Pokémon, and these are Pokémon," I said. Simple as that. No need to go into further details, despite how much Ramon pestered me. Thankfully, Duke Crescente warned him not to pry too much. Thank you!
Still, I told them what they needed to know. I woke up in a forest without any memories of how I got there, and I only knew my name. Right now, I was trying to make my way to some town or village so I could figure out where I was.
Then, the unexpected occurred.
Duke Crescente offered me a place to stay at his estate. He said that I looked to be his daughter's age, and promised that I'll be treated as an honor guest. As much as I like camping, I missed taking hot baths. Of course, I gladly took up his offer, not only for the bath, but also to find out more about this world that wasn't the Pokémon world that I knew of.
Right now, I needed information.
And so, after we ate, I pitched my Pokémon tent. Oddly enough, my inventory was saying that I had a lot of tents like same number as 999. Lucky for the Duke and the soldiers, because apparently, they lost all their belongings from the attack. Almost nothing was salvageable when they went back for it.
Honestly, I don't know why I had so much tent, but some higher being was probably looking after me.
I went inside my pink colored tent and zipped it down. I took out a large blanket that was conveniently in the bag and I hugged my three Pokémon.
Oh. And before I would forget, I summoned another egg using the Poké-Hatch app.
I now have a fire-type, an ice-type, a faery-type...
I wonder what Pokémon I'll get next.

The next day, I went with Duke Crescente and his knights. We got on these wooden magical, steampunk-like motorcycles hidden by shrubs. I was shocked. I expected to find horses, not motor bikes.
I asked about horses, and the Duke looked at me strangely, saying they were dangerous.
Um... why?
It was later that I found out that all animals of this world, whether they herbivores or carnivores, were all extremely violent, twisted creatures. So, this world didn't have animal husbandry. Everything from the smallest caterpillar to a chicken and then to a horse were all considered monsters. They were either to be hunted down, killed, or salvaged for parts, but no taming. Taming is actually very difficult. They have to use magic to mind control the creatures, but there's always a risk of them breaking that control and then killing their masters. Scary~!
So, how do they get around? They have magical technology that helped advance them in agriculture and infrastructure. Because they couldn't rely on animals, they had to really up their game in tech. So, these bikes replaced horses... neat!
Still, I'm going to have to be careful. My Pokémon would be considered a threat.
Soon we arrived at the Duke's estate, and wow... it was definitely a fancy looking castle/manor. Manor castle? It was about 3 stories high, but there were towers about that were five or six stories high. Also, it was wide. As wide as a shopping mall center, like...holy crap, who needs this much space?
Then again, there were barracks for the soldiers to consider, and the houses for the live-in servants...
We got out of the carriage and we were greeted by a butler and another little girl. That must be Duke Crescente's daughter. Awwweee, she's actually very cute---
Ooooohh... why is she glaring at me?
Oh no. Is this drama?
Please tell me this isn't drama.
When her father introduced me to her, she crossed her arms and turned her head away in defiance.
Yup... there's drama.
