Beauty. What is beauty? Is beauty self-made or man-made, which is it do we classify as the dominating factor?
Self-made beauty comes from within, it is what we as humans values our personal appearances to be. It is how the appearance we have come to love makes us truly feel. If we look in the mirror and smile, appreciating the way we look, not caring what others may think, this can be classified as self-made beauty because we, ourselves think we are beautiful.
Self-made beauty, however, is not the dominant factor here. Man-made beauty is purely based on the opinions of others and how they think beauty should be expressed by the general population. Certain factors portrayed on the body, dress and make-up are pulled forward and are said to be the ideal factors to make a woman beautiful. The only question that remains is that even though everyone tries to abide but these factors why are some yet still citisized.
Can society not make up its mind on how they think we should look? Why can't they let us the people, of our own choices and body choose how we want to look and how we want to express ourselves. Does man-made beauty always have to win?
