The water crashing against the rocks in the small creek drowns at the silence of the overwhelming sadness that Kara was feeling inside of herself. There he was, broken, bruised and bleeding in front of her and there was nothing she could do. " If only I had done something..if only I could do something" Kara weaped as she looked down at her battle torn Hero, Gabriel.
" I am useless. And I'm more trouble than I'm worth. I know that Gabe...but I really don't want you to die. I know you hate me, I know you probably resent me for having to do so much and give up everything just to protect me. I never wanted this either you know " She continues to cry as places her hand on his arm. " I am sorry..and I am going to fix this..I don't know how..but I will" Kara tries her to best of think of ways to help. She never took those first aid classes back in school. And that is now another choice that she is deeply regretting. " I'm a witch...maybe I can heal you or something" She tries her best to calm and compose herself as she places a hand over one of his many wounds. " I have no idea how any of this works..but it can't be that complicated, right? " Kara assures herself as she closes her eyes and does her best to concentrate on the wound and healing it. Several minutes pass as she continues to concentrate, until she begins to feel a warmth on her palm. " Is it working?" Kara cracks a little smile with the thought that she could actually be helping. " Of course I've had my doubts about me being a witch, but maybe this is actually working" She cracks open her eyes and looks down to see that the warmth was not the healing magic working but rather Gabriel's blood coating the bottom of her hand. " Shit..." She gasps as she can see that the wound is still very much there".  And so she tries over and over again to make the spell work. The magic she had yet to harness and knew practically nothing about. But she was determined. She had to make this work " For you.." She looks down as the tears of her hope drip down her cheek and leap from her chin, colliding with her hand.

" CRAAAAACK" the sound of sticks and leafs cracking behind Kara makes her immediatly turn around in surprise. She thought that they were alone and that they were safe now. " Please God, not now" Her mind races back to the trio and wether they had returned or not to finish him off. Kara, reaches for the nearest weapon she can find which happens to be a sturdy stick that had fallen from a tree nearby. She knew she would more than likely die, but she had to do her best to fight off the danger. If she was going to die here, she would die defending him just as he had done for her.
The brush in front of her begins to part ways and through it, steps foward a rather small creature. It looks almost humonid, but was definitely not human. It had Green skin, pointed ears, and a long drooping nose that covered its mouth completely. " PLEASE JUST LEAVE...WE DONT WANT ANY TROUBLE. WE HAVE NOTHING FOR YOU" Kara shouts bravely at the creature who seems to brush her off and steps closer to the pair. " I'm serious dammit..stay back " Kara points her stick at the creature, not entirely sure what it's intention were but refusing to let it anywhere near Gabriel. " You are in danger, yes? " The creature croaks out as it steps closer and closer to the two. " Yes...my friend is badly hurt and..we don't want any trouble. Please just leave leave.." Kara pleas with with creature who now had a small smile drawn across his face. " I help you" It waves to her and waddles its way over to Gabriel. This creatures is very small..probably around 3ft tall and Kara assumes she can probably take it if it tries anything. That is unless it knows magic or something at which point she wasn't sure she would be able to handle it. She continues pointing the stick at the creature as it looks over Gabriel's body. " Oh. He is hurt bad. I will help him. He is good" The creature nods towards Kara as he lifts his hand over Gabriel's body to which Kara continues watching, ready to hit him over the head the first sign of trouble.
As the creature waves his hand over Gabriel's body, the wounds and bruises begin to dissappear from Gabriel's body almost instantly. " You know magic?" Kara questions, now feeling slightly more comfortable now that she can see that whatever this is, actually does want to help them. " Yes. I'm good at magic things. I am gooblin " He replies happily to which Kara half laughs. " Do you mean a Goblin? " She asks, having never heard of anything close to a ' Gooblin". " No, no gooblin is me " he replies, as he finishes waving his hand over Gabriel. " Oh..that is your name? Gooblin? " Kara tries her best to understand him though his voice is super raspy and yet almost gargly. " Well my name is Kara, and it's nice to meet you...is my friend going to be okay? " Kara turns her attention back to Gabriel whose eyes are closed. " Yes. Yes. He will be fine. He needs rest. He will be fine in a few days " Gooblin reassures her with a confidence that is the most comfort Kara has known in a while. " Okay...well thank you for everything you have done. Is there anything I can do to repay you? We don't have any money but I think we have some spare food or something" Kara clutters around trying to find the backpack. " No. I go now. See Kara later " And with that, Gooblin limps away back into the brush as quickly as he arrived. " Oh..." Kara Sighs as Gooblin dissapears and so she sits back down beside Gabriel.
