Queen Aurora arrives back at the Shack and finds that Kara is still panicking. " What happened? " she askes as Raven steps away, shocked that Aurora had made it back alive. Raven explains as Aurota pulls Kara into her arms and wraps them tightly around her.
" She isn't taking the Gabriel thing well. She wishes he had killed her.." Queen Aurora looks down at Kara who is still weeping. " Kara, listen to me. It's going to be okay sweetie. I'm here with you now. We are going to find a way to fix this " Aurora looks to Shawn and Raven for an answer on what to do. Both of which, have been trying but failing at coming up with an actual proper plan. " I could try to use the serum. I just need some time " Raven walks over to the table and begins scowering through the contents on top of it, trying to find a particular book she would need.
" How did you survive?" Shawn asks, perplexed that Gabriel would let her live. Aurora Sighs and looks to him and answers " His Aunt Lysette stopped him" which made Raven turn around in shock.
" Didn't she leave the Lycan Kingdom after his parents died? " Raven asks. " I thought she was dead " Shawn adds. " No one has seen or heard from her since then. Not. Single words on her whereabouts. No sightings either".
Queen Aurora nods. " She loved her sister but when she passed away. She couldn't stand being in the kingdom anymore. She never approved of the council. She technically should have taken place on the throne but she never liked the idea of being a Queen from what I remembered. She also had never forgiven Gabriel's parents for sending him away. From those who resisted it, she was the loudest" Aurora explains.
Lysette had always loved Gabriel, he was her only nephew. And Aurora knew that she would have never intervened on her behalf against Gabriel without proper reason. She hoped that Lysette was safe.
" Well did you learn anything..from Gabriel? " Shawn pursued with his line of questions to satiate his curiosity. " He wanted me to bring Victoria back. Using the forbidden magic" which caught Ravens attention. " How does he even know about that..."
" I don't know. I honestly don't know. There should be no way that he would know this. He wanted me to use it and I refused" it made sense though. That Gabriel would want Victoria back. It broke all of their hearts in some way. He wanted the person who had stood by his side throughout time and had been nothing but loyal. And he couldn't have it"
Raven shakes her head " I would've done it. He deserves it. Forbidden it or not. He deserves to have her back " which made Aurora snap back with " I know you would. But I'm not you. I'm not going to break our codes just because he demands me to do so. No matter how much I want too" Raven tries to brush the comment off but felt that she finally say the things she never got to say back when she last saw Aurora." You've asked him to do so much for you. And he has obliged with it. His entire people have done that for years. And he asks you for one thing and you couldn't even do that" and then Shawn chimes in. " It does seem like a pattern. He has asked you for other things which you resisted as well".
Aurora pretends to ignore their comments and continues to comfort Kara whose weeping has since calmed down slightly.
" What is your problem Aurora? You have said that you wanted to make things right and yet you refuse at every single opportunity given to you" Shawn's words stung deeply. " You don't understand. You or Raven. There are reasons why that magic is forbidden " She answers. Raven crosses her arms. " I know that forbidden magic well. The only downside to it, is that it requires an immense amount of power" she points out which Aurora scoffs at. " It can also kill the caster. That, and it requires the energy of an unborn child" She darts her eyes at Raven. " And I refuse to allow that kind of magic to be performed" the room falls silent. At the Lycan Kingdom, Santara is having a meeting with the Council. " What happened? Where is Gabriel? " one member asks, knowing that Gabriel was gone and wanted an explanation from Santara. " He..had something he had to do. He will return soon though. And he will answer your questions as he seems fit" She had no idea where he had went too. She assumed that he went after Kara but she wasn't too worried. There is no way that she could talk herself out of his anger.
Just then, the doors swing open behind the table and there, stands a woman. She had short, light brown hair with orange streaks running through it. It was messy and looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in years. She is wearing rags for clothing but smells of power and purpose. The council turns to see the woman standing behind them. " Lysette...?"Gabriel had continued on his Journey the kingdom of the witches. He had suspected that they would have been long gone by the time that he arrives. But this doesn't bother him he knows what he is looking for. If Aurora was going to yet again refuse to aid him. Then he would take matters into his own hands. Kara had not entered his mind whatsoever. He no longer thought of her. She was nothing but an obstacle to him who had stood in his way.
She was a liar, and she was using him. Victoria was right about her. Gabriel had wished he would've let Victoria end Kara's life when she had the chance. A mistake, that costed Victoria her own life. His life had been so confused by Kara for so long that he felt free finally. But found his new mission taking him over. He felt nothing for anyone other than her. He had to bring her back. He had to apologize. He had to let her know that he was sorry for everything that had happened. She would forgive him regardless because that is just who she was. But he couldn't let that happen. He would make it up to her. He would find a way. And unlike Kara and Aurora, he would keep his promises.
When he layed in the bed, he knew she had stayed by his side. All of that time. And he had overheard the conversation that Victoria with Santara. Victoria didn't want to be with him just for who he was. She loved him. Truly and deeply. And not out obligation. She was loyal. She had never broken his trust, not even once. He could always count on her. She deserved to be Queen. She deserved it more than he deserved to be King. But if he was going to rule, he would want Noone else by his side other than her. And he refused to take the title without her. It meant nothing to him without her.
He would find a way to bring her back. He would be reunited with her again. He would do whatever it took to make it happen. With or without the help of the witches. They could not be relied on either way. And though he knew Shawn had been on side for his whole life, he also knew Shawn was allies with Kara. And he wished to not be associated with her whatsoever. She was selfish and do whatever she could to destroy his entire life. She had already broken him. But he gave her that power. A power he would never give to her ever again. She could not be trusted. She deserved a fate worse than death for what she had done. She knew full well that he had given up so much for her. She knew that he loved her, and she didn't even try to save him. She said she did but she didn't. There was no way she could've been so stupid. She saw an opportunity and she took it. She just wanted to justify her horrible decision. She was married. And had the nerve to act like she cared and did it all for him. But she didn't. Not to him. She was just jumping boats because she felt he was going to kill her and thought he would offer her mercy. And yet, he still did. Leaving her behind to die was the best mercy he could show her. He left her broken just like he was left broken.Meanwhile, traversing through the snow, was a woman. Her hair was long, straight and pitch black. She was wearing a dark red armor with Gold trim. THE Armor was in perfect condition and seemed to be made of an extremely rare metal of some type.
Each step she took, was with purpose. Her eyes were completely black, deeper and darker than outer space itself without the twinkling of stars. Her skin was pale but not because of the cold. She was ice cold to the touch even under the hottest of conditions.
Three people follow behind her, two girls and one tall man.
Abilene, Savine, and Patrah, the night slashers who had been out casted and almost taken Gabriel's life.
Savine calls out ahead to the girl in armor " Gwen..where are we going? " he asks, as they all walk perfectly in unison behind her. They had always followed her, and stayed as close as they could. Though, she had left them behind to traverse the earth for several months in search of food. The girl in armor who answers to the name of Gwen responds " My brothers have been slain. And I must return home at the request of mother and father " She looks in the distance, hundreds of miles away but still in view, the Vampire Kindom sits, skulking and brooding. " Who killed them?" Abiline askes, surprised at this knowing how strong Gwen's brothers were. They were all experienced fighters though and taking them down much less killing them was a challenging feat. Gwen stomps down through the fresh fallen powder on the ground. " Kara, the Princess of Witches"
