Chapter 15 [Memories]

When I fall asleep I could see a flash of memories. 'It isn't mine' I concluded. I could see my appearance smiling kindly even though she is stuck in bed. Everyone treated her like she didn't even exist. I could feel her sadness and longing when her mother died. I could feel her helplessness and pain.

The previous host of this body was fragile and weak. She has a weak body and constitution. She has a weak magical energy and physical strength. The host of this body before was going by the name Blanch von Rousseau. She is a Margrave's daughter and her father was one of the trusted man of the King.

Blanch only has one ally which is her beloved mother. When her mother pass away, when she was still 9. Blanch was ignored by her father because her father hated her for being weak and useless because her father prioritize power. What's worst was that her father was the one taken to the Rousseau family. It means that her father was never had the Rousseau bloodline.

When her mother died. He get all the wealth and honor to the Rousseau family. She also has a sister but she never see her sister since her mother pass away. So, Blanch and her sister were never really close.

Oneday...

*knock* *knock*

"Come in" Blanch replied

Blanch was surprise to see who is the person of the otherside of the door. It was her ... father.

"Blanch? Would you like to go outside?" Her father ask her in a low voice

"Really?!" Blanch beamed to a smiling face

"Yes" her father gave her a smile but that smile have a malice.

"I would love to Father!"

Blanch's father really take her to the outside world. Her father take her to the place with a beautiful river and waterfall. It was an outstanding scenery, its like something out in a painting. When Blanch turn around to tell her father what she thought. She found no one. She was so entranced by the sight that she didn't notice anyone leaving.

Only the rustling of the leaves. The howling of the wind and the sound of the owl that greeted her.

"Father?" Blanch called out but no one answered

"Fatheer?! Ne~ Tell me its a joke" but unfortunately its not. Its true. Its clear as day that her father ditched her. Alone. Ditch her alone in the forest. She walk and walk but found no one. Its just tree's and more tree's. Sure, the scenery were her father take her was breathtaking but she couldn't fully admire the scenery when she know that she is in the middle of nowhere. She walk, she run, she tries to find the exit of the never-ending tree's.

Its a miracle that she is still alive in three days. She only ate food from tree's and drink water from a nearby pond or river. She knows which one is poisonous or not. She could tell the nutrients of the food she'd eaten since she spend almost all of her life reading books and her mother love plants. She use that knowledge to match what was her body needed and she also atleast rest 5 times a day.

Of course, since she's in the forest. She was sometimes attack by a monster though it is only Rank F or E. She is a good learner so she know a bit of swordmanship. Rank F or E isn't a threat especially she knows a bit of swordsmanship. Besides, almost always Slime monster that show up and attack her and she only happen to fight one Kobold.

She uses a rusty-metal-sword that she happen to find. 'Maybe an adventurer left it' she thought. She has a weak constitution and body so she doesn't really get to try swordsmanship before. She was just copying what she see in a book, back when she was a child. Luckily, she never fought a group of monster. Only one or two at a time. So, she can handle it. However, she didn't get out unscathed. She has a few scratches and bruises that could be seen in her body.

Anyway, Its been three days since she realized that her father ditch her. She finally got out of the forest but what await her isn't the capital or a town but it was green as far as eye could see. Blanch fell into her knees, feeling hopeless. The sun was blazing hot.

She saw a big tree nearby

'Atleast, I'll go there and sit in a shade' Blanch thought

She go there but as she walk to her destination. She could feel her breathing became ragged and when she arrive in front of the tree, her knees finally gave in when she was under the old tree, taking shade.

"I guess this is it, huh?" Blanch muttered. Blanch take a look at the place where she's in one last time and weakly smile.

She could feel her head becoming lightheaded. She could feel her strength and energy leaving her. She also could feel her consciousness fading away and then she muttered under her breath
"I guess its not too bad to die in a beautiful grassla..nd" and when that word was said. Her breathing gradually became slow and after 6 second or so. She plop in to the ground lifeless. In that moment, Koharu's soul transmigrated into the body.

Now, Why was Koharu has a lot of Stamina when the owner of the body has a weak constitution? Well, lets just say the body was enhance by Aine to match Koharu's magical energy and physical ability and with Koharu's soul having Aine's blessing it also rapidly increase her physical strength and magical power.

Then Koharu wake up. When Koharu awoke she feel a ray of sunlight hitting her eyes. She got up and rubbed her left eye. When she was fully awake Koharu thought 'Guess the previous host of this body and I have something in common'.

We are now in the classroom, Sir Tristan will be handing out the device that she was talking about the other day and he will also give us a reminder

"Student! This is Loki, put it in your wrist"

"I have already explain the use of this device. We don't have any classes today, instead you will be preparing for your 3-day mission. Prepare things that you needed for camping, and review the monsters weaknesses. Understand?"

"Yes!" All students present answered in sync.

When Tristan told us to prepare. I was thinking of making a handgun, not one that function with a gun powder as a bullet but I was thinking of making the bullet a compress of magical energy.

Fumiko P.O.V (Point of view)

When Instructor Tristan told us to prepare. I prepare all necessary things for camping. Same goes with Fiona and Mayumi but I don't see Haru preparing anything.

When I finish preparing my own thing. I decided to go out and practice my swordsmanship. But then, I saw Haru. She is walking to the woods. I got curious so I follow her.

When she stop, I saw her at the plain-rocky-mountain-open-area. Instead of making my presence known I remain hiding and watch what she was doing. I may look like a stalker but I am not. I am just simply curious. I saw her move the big rock revealing a hole with a metal like thing in it. I stay and watch her do things that didn't make sense to me. She move fast, and molding things. She make a tube-like metal and mold a strange looking shape. After that, she attached all of the components she made and all of the things she made was all complicated. Anyway, for me what she was doing was strange.

After an hour has passed

Koharu begun to stand and she store what she made in her storage but before she could leave. She was sorrounded by Rockgamor.
