Chapter 19 [Day 2: Cross this Wasteland]

I woke up from my slumber when it was still dawn. The sun has yet to rise but the surrounding already has enough light for us to see. I sit up and look at Fiona who is still peacefully sleeping.

I crawl into the entrance of the tent and go outside. I stretch my arm and let out a yawn. The barrier that I cast is still up and covering us. I look at the wasteland that we were supposed to venture into today and saw that it has a slight fog.

If I compare this to the time on the Earth. Probably around 4:00? The campfire that we set up yesterday also went off during the duration of time. I decided to make something for our breakfast. Like any other storage magic, the time stop in the storage magic of Koharu. It was just a light breakfast.

As I was preparing breakfast. The sun was beginning to rise. After my preparation was ready. I woke the girls up. It is better to start moving as early as possible before the sun rises to avoid immense heat.

I and Fiona were just sharing a tent. She doesn't have any objection about it but she is kind of bashful when I told her about it.

It took some time to wake all of them up. No, not all. I didn't see or feel any signs that Akane will get out of her tent soon.

『Is she still sleeping?』

「Akane? Wake up, we still have to travel this wasteland, and if we delay any longer. I think we will have to deal with the immense heat later!! Akane?!」

No Response.

I decided to enter her tent and saw her lazily getting up but to my disappointment. She goes back to sleep once again and says 'I'm still sleepy.

I enter and push her shoulder lightly.

「 Akane, wake up!! 」

「5 more minutes...」

「...」

「Alright, but just 5 minutes okay?」

「Hnm...」

《5 minutes later》

5 minutes have passed but there is still no sign of Akane waking up. In fact, she seems to be falling into a deep sleep.

「Akane? 5 minutes have already pass」

I shouted outside the tent. Akane groaned and mumble

「 Another... 5 minutes...」

「 What?! Haaa Alright but this will be the last. Your breakfast is getting cold」

I knew that Akane was a heavy sleeper and not a morning person. So, I give her another 5 minutes.

While I was waking Akane up. The rest of the girls was starting to eat their breakfast before it gets cold.

《Another 5-minute passed》

I once again called out Akane but again she replied. '5 more minutes.

『Just how many 5 minutes does she need?. Haaa』

I thought annoyed.

Koharu enters the said girls' tent...again and shakes Akane's shoulder while calling out her name. The girl only replies with a groan and covers herself with a blanket.

I also say that we will live her alone if she doesn't wake up soon but she just said 'I'll catch up to you later. This answer made my eye twitch a bit.

I took away the blanket that was covering her but she just turns her back to me and curls herself into a ball. No matter what I do. She won't wake up. Getting frustrated at my failed attempt to wake Akane up. I came up with a plan. What is my plan you ask? Well...
