「Help!」

Hearing the call for help. Koharu and Akane looked at each other and nodded to indicate their agreement. Without needing to use magic. Koharu jump at one branch after another. Akane used magic to enhance her speed but as expected, it couldn't match Koharu's speed.

They follow the direction of the voice and after some running, they stumble upon a young girl with blonde hair. Koharu jumped in front of the girl.

「kyaaaaa」

The young lady let out a voice of surprise at Koharu's sudden appearance.

「What happened?」

Koharu asked while extending her hand for the young lady to take. However, the girl just stared at her in a daze as if she saw something amazing. Her amethyst eyes meet her grey-blue eyes. Koharu cleared her throat and that snapped the girl back to reality.

She pointed in the direction she came from and said in a trembling voice.

「P-please help m-my f-friends」

Koharu only looked in the direction and nodded but not without leaving some words to Akane.

「Akane, I'll go check it out. You heal her first」

With that, she takes off towards the direction where the clash between the claws and swords can be heard.

「W-w-waittt」

The young blonde girl seems to have something to say but Koharu's figure can no longer be seen.

— Koharu's POV —

I enhance my senses and activate the detection skill that allows me to perceive the living and non-living things in my range area.

*Clank* *swish* *grunts*

I immediately speed up and turn towards the direction where an ongoing fight takes place.

I arrive at the scene in a minute and saw a wounded man and woman. They were clearly at the disadvantage but they persevere. Red blood was gushing towards their wound but their eyes shows their unyielding tenacity. Their opponent looks like a lion with wing and horned. One is already dead and the two warriors were dealing with one wing lions respectively.

The man was dealing with a lion with a black bull like horn that's protruding in their temple and the other one has a brown horn. This creature let out a frightening growl that scare the other creature in the area.

The brown horned lion pounce on the woman whose one shoulder is bloody and unusable. At that moment, I jump out into the tree and slash my sword diagonally.

「w-w-waiittt」

Akane look at Koharu's retreating figure and couldn't help but let out a helpless sigh. She turns to the young blonde elf who has bloody clothes and a few scratches and bruises on here and there.

Before she could say anything, the young blonde girl prepare to follow towards Koharu's trail but was stopped by Akane by grabbing the girls' wrist.

「Where are you going?」ask Akane

「Wh-what do you mean where. Of course to follow that reckless girl!!」

「Dont worry about her. She will be fine.」 Akane said and dragged the girl to the nearest tree and force her to sit down.

「You don't understand! The enemy is not an ordinary monster but a Winged Lion!!」The young elf spoke in a tone full of distress.
