The bell rang for the end of 4th period. I walk out of the class room and towards the locker bay. I hadn’t seen Matt since the start of 4th period. He’s probably off making friends. I Don’t know how I feel about this guy, he’s cute, he’s got the right personality and he’s just so nice.
“Charlie!” I hear a girl shout from the other side of the corridor. “Hey, wait up” She says again.
I wait until she is next to me to reply to her. “Oh, Hey Kaylee.” I say.
“Hello! Want to have lunch together?” She asks with a look on her face that no one could say no to.
“Of course, but I promised Christian I would hang out with him.” I say looking down to the ground biting my lip.
“Hey, the more the merrier.” She says as she grabs my hand and drags me to the cafeteria. “Oh, also bring your friend, Matt.” She says with a big smile on her face.
“Okay!” I reply getting my phone out of my pocket and texting Matt and Christian.
-Christian, Matty Boy- (Yes I know, Matty Boy but he stole my phone and put his number in it and named it.)
Meet Kaylee and I at the cafeteria, we are already here. C;
-Charlie-
I walk into the cafeteria with Kaylee and we go and sit at a table with 4 chairs. Kaylee and I sit next to each other so that the boys would have to sit next to one another. Kaylee and I start chatting and about 5 minutes later both Christian and Matt walk in. Matt waltzes over to our table and puts his face right next to mine and whispers into my ear, “I thought we would be sitting next to each other, Miss Robertson.” His voice was so deep and husky. He could easily seduce a girl if he wanted to, but I think he is doing that to me now. He leans back up and winks at me and then sits down on the other side of me.
“Hello Ladies.” Matt says smiling at me.
“Hello” Kaylee says smiling at me and winking.
“Hi” I respond looking over my shoulder to see Christian making his way over to us.
“Hello there ladies” Christian says looking at Matt, giving him the death stare. “And Matt.” He adds trying to put on a fake smile. What is wrong with Christian, he doesn’t usually act this way.
“How are we all?” Christian asks.
“Good, Good.” Matt replies
“Great thank you, Christian” Kaylee and I both reply.
“So, Matt, have you got a girl?” Christian asks with a worried look on his face.
“Nah, not yet.” He says looking at me.
“Oh, okay, I would have thought you would have had one. Guess I was wrong.” He says getting angry.
“Nah, man, I’m still looking.” He says sending Christian a small smirk and then returning his eyes to mine.
“So, Matt, where are you from?” Kaylee asks smiling at Matt.
“Sydney.” He says smiling.
“Oh, Cool. I moved here from Canberra, my mum wanted to see more of Australia so we moved here.” Replies Kaylee.
“That’s nice.” Matt says as he stands up and walks over to me.
“Charlie, I can’t wait any longer, I need to talk to you tonight, okay?” He says as he taps me on the shoulder and walks away. “Bye guys, I have something to do. Talk later Charlie.” He adds as he waves.
“Oooh, what could that be about, Charlie?” Kaylee asks me giving me a little nudge in the arm.
“I have no idea. I’m actually kind of worried right now.” I reply.
“No, don’t be. He’s a nice guy, he’s probably just asking you something about school or something.” She insures me.
“Want me to come with you, Charlie?” Christian asks as he clenches his fists.
“No, it’s fine. I’ll be fine.” I insure him, I really didn’t want him to come, and he has been acting very strange ever since he first saw Matt.
“Aight then.” He says. “Girls, I better be off it’s almost the end of lunch. See you tomorrow.”
“Bye, Christian.” Kaylee and I both say.
As Christian walks away, I leave over to Kaylee and whisper into her ear, “It Christian acting different, or is it just me?” I ask.
“I don’t really know him, but he is from what I have normally see.” She says.
“Anyway we better go, class is about to start.” She says as she hops up from the chair and grabs my arm and drags me out of the cafeteria door.
The next two lessons went by pretty quickly, I was worried about what Matt needed to talk to me about, but, I know I shouldn’t be, it’s Matt. After the 6th period had finished Matt and I both walked to our after school detention. The teacher was asleep for most of it but after maybe 15 minutes he decided to go get something to eat. Once he had shut the door behind him, Matt came over to me, looked into my eyes and said, “Charlie, I can’t wait anymore, you are an amazing girl.” Once he had said that he put his hands on my waist and gently pulled me closer to him, and planted his soft lips onto mine. I didn’t know what was happening for the first few seconds so I pulled away after a few more seconds and looked at him and he smiled at me, showing his dimples. I looked down and tried to hide my face, which was as red as a tomato, from me blushing. He puts his hand under my chin and lifted my head to look back at him, and he said to me, “Don’t be shy Charlie.” Those words left his mouth as fast as a cheetah chasing a gazelle, and then he leaned in a planted one last kiss on my lips.
