Authors Note

Oh god, my deepest apologies.  Things have been intense lately and I realized I haven't updated in TWENTY DAYS.  TWENTY.

1. I don't know if you saw on my twitter, but my cheer team is District Champions!  Nothing like seeing Thornapple-Kellogg upset lmao they so thought they were gonna win haha NAH.  The State championship is this Saturday...wish me luck <3

2. Hi, my name is Mia, and I'm addicted to drinking tea.

3. would you guys still love me if there was a sex scene near the end of the book because I'm doing it so

4. Did anyone watch the new OUAT episode?  I thought I wouldn't make it throught the hiatus omg.  Fun fact: for the first 20 chapters of this book, I had never seen an episode of OUAT HAHA oops i was a fake fan

5. Well, my dad has a girlfriend.  Her name is Stacey.  I went shopping with her the other day to get to know her, and met her son Dillon.  He's in the same grade as me and he's 17.  Stacey has seemed to favor Abby (my sister), and Dillon favors me I guess.  We've been texting a lot.  He's going to start coming over a lot more now because of how often Stacey is over, and lately he's been flirting, idk.  It's weird because that's my dad's girlfriend's son and he's kinda cute but yeah

Okay, some unfinished buisness.  This chapter is really lazy.  I haven't been able to focus on anything lately.  My grades have been dropping and I've done nothing but sleep.  It's so weird because writing is my passion and even that is too much.  Hopefully it's just the winter depression and spring has new things to offer.

Question: which character from this story do you relate to most and why? (sorry, just wanna make sure I'm developing characters correctly)

Chapter Twenty Six

Days In Neverland: 43

I've decided a few things.

First, I've decided that my new favorite pleasure is the psithurism, the sound of the wind folding around the trees, the way the breeze strokes the rugged trunks, the flute-like whistle of the breathy gusts weaving in and out of the leaves.

Then, I decided I love to watch how sunlight spills through, like it were vapor, like the tragically beautiful unveiling of the atmosphere's skin.

Neverland consists of layers; the layers go from generic to advanced.  The first being the island as a whole, the last being the small things, such as the direction the grass bends, the shade of off-white the sand is, the veins in the fallen leaves.

I decided I love to look at the small things.  I looked back and realized that those were the big things.  I decided I want to do much more than merely exist: I want to live.
